Family holiday in Turkey, Fetihye

We were in Fetihye for a family holiday. I love Turkey and was really pleased to be going back.

We stayed at the 4* Majesty Tuana Resort, the hotel had also been recommended to me from other people plus Trip Advisor reviews were also very good. The hotel did not disappoint! It was very nice.

The rooms weren’t huge and were quite basic but this is generally typical of Turkey.

The pools were lovely and if going with small children then the children’s pool with the slide was a lovely area to settle for the day. There are also two water slides too. There is also another area to this hotel which also has a lovely small and quiet pool area, but it is quite a walk from the restaurants and main pool and entertainment area. The entertainment staff were brilliant and couldn’t do enough, the same with the children’s club too. The children are well entertained here and mine had a great time.

The food was lovely, however like most all inclusive hotels, it can become repetitive. They had a different theme each night and a huge selection. The good thing about this hotel was that it does also have three other restaurants with waiter service which is included in the all-inclusive package, you just have to book them.

We did book a morning boat trip from the hotels dive centre which was very good. This is located on the beach. I did like that the hotel was literally on the beach and it was also nice sunbathing on the jetty too.

Whilst we had a lovely holiday and liked the hotel, I was disappointed at how far away it was from anything, particularly as I know how lovely the resorts Olu Deniz and Fetihye are. I did miss being able to go and wander around the shops from the hotel, as it was about 20 minutes in a dolmus to Fetihye. If a family wants a hotel with everything at hand and not worried about going out and about much then this would be ideal as this really is a lovely hotel.
