Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island, Bahamas

On 1st September 2015 I flew from Heathrow to Bahamas on a Sandals educational trip. These trips are familiarisation trips to get to see a hotel and destination. There were 11 of us travel agents and we were very lucky to all be upgraded to Club Class on the British Airways flight.

We stayed at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort and off shore Island on Cable Beach, Nassau.

The room type was a Windsor Honeymoon Club Level Oversized Junior Suite which was close to the main pool and beach. The room was very spacious with a four poster bed, huge walk in shower and big bathroom with bathrobe. This was a club level room so I also had a mini bar stocked with soft drinks, wines and beers as well as a full bottle of vodka, gin, whisky and rum. (Photos of my room are on here).

This was a stunning resort like all Sandals resorts are. We dined at several of the 10 restaurants here and the choice was lovely and the food was amazing.

We had a tour of the hotel grounds and various room categories, the wedding venues and the offshore island which was stunning and a great perk of this resort. I have notes of rooms I visited if you needed help with choosing your room type.

The piano bar tends to be a great place to go after dinner, with lots of singing around the piano. This was popular and busy every night and a great laugh.

There are some great excursions available to do in Nassau and a must do is Blue Lagoon Island to swim with the dolphins. I have done this on a previous holiday here and it was amazing.

You also have the option to upgrade your transfer here to a Rolls Royce which is new to the Sandals group (photo is on here).

After our stay here we flew onto the Exuma Islands to stay at Sandals Emerald Bay. I have a separate blog on this.
