On 8th August 2020 we were fortunate enough to travel to the Algarve on our annual summer holiday. It had been “touch and go” as to whether we would be able to travel with the restrictions in place, but as Easyjet didn’t cancel our flight and we were staying at a friend’s holiday home, we took the decision to travel with extra travel insurance on board! As a family we had never visited the Algarve previously and on the two occasions I had been there previously (aged 16 on a college trip and latterly on a travel conference weekend) I hadn’t been...

On Saturday 19th October my family and I flew out to Marrakech in Morocco for our October half term getaway. We had chosen a family resort style hotel around twenty minutes outside the city of Marrakech at the 4* Iberostar Club Palmeraie Marrakech. The hotel appealed to us as a family because many of the rooms are interconnecting which meant we were able to have two rooms and two bathrooms and two balconies giving us a lot more space. The hotel is set in fabulous grounds and has an abundance of amenities with 3 pools (including one children’s pool and one adult...

On 26th September I flew out with Emirates from Manchester airport through Dubai and on to Mauritius for the 2019 Travel Counsellors Gold long haul conference. We arrived at our Beachcomber hotel – Troux Biches Golf Resort and Spa on the North West coasr of the island the following morning, after an approx. 1 hour transfer from the airport. It had been more than 16 years since I had last been to Mauritius for my honeymoon in August 2003, having stayed that time on the East coast of the island. The weather on the West coast was fabulous during our short four-night stay,...

On 16th August 2019, we set out on our family summer holiday to Skiathos. As a family we had never been to Greece before, only as a couple in our pre-children days. Our two girls really wanted to visit Greece and being avid “Mamma Mia” fans, the choice of Skiathos with the opportunity to visit Skopelos seemed the perfect choice for us. I had been to Skiathos previously as girl of 20, so to go back and visit the island some 28 years later, was a fabulous experience, bizarrely although development had taken place Skiathos still held all the same charm and...

On 24th September I flew out of London Heathrow with a group of other travel agents for a trip to Santiago, Chile and Patagonia. We flew business class with BA on the overnight flight, journey time was circa 14 hours. On 25th September we started our three nights stay in Santiago at the 4* Plaza San Francisco hotel. During our stay in Santiago we visited the Sky Costanera observation platform on the 61st and 62nd floors of the Costanera Tower, the tallest building in South America. It had fabulous 360 views across the city and the Andes mountain range. We did...

On Saturday 6th April, my family and I took the Emirates flight overnight from Manchester to Dubai for our Easter holiday in Ras Al Khaimah, for a 10 nigh stay in resort. Ras Al Khaimah is one of the seven-member states that make up the UAE – United Arab Emirates it is the fourth largest Emirate and is in the Northern part of the UAE bordering Oman. Distance wise traffic permitting travel time from Dubai airport can range between 45 minutes to one hour 15 minutes, depending on the traffic. For our holiday we had planned to stay at three different hotels in...

On 26th March 2018, we set off as a family of four, myself, my husband and our 11 and 6-year-old girls for our two weeks Easter Sunshine holiday to Gran Canaria. Having travelled to Gran Canaria several times previously, we had opted to stay in one of our most favourite resorts of Puerto Mogan, we had previously stayed here in October 2011 at the 4*+ Cordial Mogan Playa hotel and this time we decided to go self-catering and stay at the 4* apartments next door the Cordial Mogan Valle Apartments. We booked a one-bedroom apartment at the Cordial Mogan Valle and this...

On Wednesday 9th May, I took the Emirates flight overnight from Manchester to Dubai for my Travel Counsellors Gold Conference in Ras Al Khaimah. Ras Al Khaimah is one of the seven-member states that make up the UAE – United Arab Emirates it is the fourth largest Emirate and is in the Northern part of the UAE bordering Oman. Traffic permitting, travel time from Dubai airport can range between 45 minutes to one hour 15 minutes, depending on the traffic. Ras is fast becoming a year-round sun destination in the UAE with the recommended best time to travel being October –...

On 28th October, my family and I took the overnight Etihad flight from Manchester to Abu Dhabi, for a week of half term sunshine. After taking a private transfer from the airport we arrived at our hotel for the week at the 5* Ritz Carlton Grand Canal Abu Dhabi. The Ritz Carlton is a fabulous resort hotel, with many room category options including one and two-bedroom villas, with and without private pools and the option of a club lounge upgrade at an additional cost. The last time I had been to Abu Dhabi was May 2013 for my Gold Conference and I had...

On 6th August, we flew out from Glasgow this time (which was a fabulous airport and so much quieter than Manchester) to Malaga for our two-week family holiday. One of my fellow TC colleagues has a time share week in Mijas and we had the pleasure of staying at a lovely two-bedroom apartment on the Matchroom Club Resort in Mijas Costa. The accommodation was lovely, very clean and well maintained and there were three lovely pools to choose from including a main pool, baby pool and a smaller pool near the indoor sauna/jacuzzi with a sliding roof. Mijas Costa is on the...

As part of our two-week family holiday in August 2017 we travelled to the Gibraltar for a three-night stay. I had previously visited Gibraltar around 15 years ago as a day trip and thought it would be great to pay a return visit as a family rather than a couple. We arrived in Gibraltar on a Sunday afternoon after a 1.5-hour drive in our hire car down the coast from Mijas. The border queues into Gibraltar were not too bad and were only hampered by the runway being closed to allow two different aircraft to take off – as the runway spans...

In June 2017, I had the pleasure of travelling to Orlando in Florida on an “educational” trip that I had won through Travel Counsellors with fellow colleagues. We flew out of Gatwick with Virgin Atlantic direct to Orlando and had the pleasure of being upgraded outbound to travel in premium economy class which I must say was excellent. On arrival in Orlando the trip was hosted by Universal and hence we stayed at the Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. This hotel is around a 15-minute walk from Universal Orlando Resort, however the best thing here was the fact that, as this hotel and...

On Friday 12th May 2017, I flew with many of my fellow Gold TCs to Jamaica on our annual Gold Conference weekend from Gatwick. We stayed at the Half Moon Bay in Montego Bay and groups of between 9 – 16 of us shared their private “Villas at Half Moon” each of which had their own pool. During our stay in Jamaica we were lucky enough to do take the excursion to Dunn’s River Falls in Ocho Rios which was around a 1.5-hour drive from Montego Bay and a fabulous fun filled day climbing the falls with a stop on the...

On 3rd November we travelled down to London by train from Silverdale for a four night family break over the kids’ half term holidays. We took a taxi from Euston to the hotel and checked in to our hotel in Southwark for the next four nights. On the Thursday evening we had a lovely walk along the Thames to Borough Market as our hotel was situated not far back from the Tate Modern. We had a fabulous meal out and then an early night after a busy day travelling. The following day we joined our “hop on/hop off” bus tour which we...

After such a fabulous family holiday in Jersey in August 2015, we decided as a family to return in August 2016, so we again sailed across to the beautiful channel island of Jersey from Portsmouth. We stayed at Rozel Camping on Rozel Bay, a short walk or drive to the beach at Rozel bay. On our previous holiday there in August 2015, we had done a huge amount of sightseeing with the Jersey War Tunnels, Durrell Wildlife Park (Jersey Zoo), Mont Orgueil (Gorey) Castle, Elizabeth Castle etc. This time we wanted to have a more chilled out trip which we managed...

On 12th May, I flew out from Manchester direct to Hong Kong for the Travel Counsellors Gold conference in Hong Kong, the flight were direct from Manchester with Cathay Pacific and travel time was around 11 hours 40 mins. On arriving into Hong Kong with my colleagues we were transferred to our 5* hotel for the next 3 nights, the 5* Cordis hotel at Langham Place in Mongkok, Kowloon. The Cordis in a great position across from the MTR station at Mongkok and actually connected via a walkway to a huge shopping complex which the MTR station is below. After catching up on...

On 9th April 2016, we embarked on our two week family holiday to Florida, with two extremely excited little girls aged 4 and 9 in tow. We flew direct to Orlando and after a long journey made our way by hire to the Vista Cay Resort, in Orlando where we were upgraded from a two bedroom to a three bedroom deluxe apartment which was great location wise as we were on Universal Boulevard just parallel to International Drive. After settling in to our accommodation our first day was planned for Disney’s Magic Kingdom. As you sometimes have to queue into the car...
19 February 2016
On 12th February 2016, we travelled to a weekend away for the February half term to Ribblesdale Park in Gisburn. We had been here twice previously for a weekend break in the Keepers Cottage in February 2014 (a party of 6 with my in-laws) and then again in October 2014 to a two bedroom luxury lodge with a hot tub with our family of 4. We like the park and the standard of accommodation so much that we decided to return in February 2016 for a weekend break with our friends, so a party of 3 adults and 4 children aged,...

Our Trip to meet “the real” Father Christmas!! On 27th November 2015, we travelled to Saariselka in Finland “aka Lapland” for a two-night three day break. My husband and I had been planning this trip for two years for my little girls, trying to get the ages just right they are now 4 and 8 years old, so when the Lapland brochures went on sale a whole year previous to our travel date, we took the plunge and made the booking and managed to keep it a secret for a whole 11 months until the weekend before we flew out the following...

In September 2015, I travelled with my husband Steve to attend the Travel Counsellors annual Gold conference in Tenerife. After an early flight out of Manchester, we arrived at our hotel/home for the next three nights, the 5* Gran Bahia Del Duque hotel. The hotel is in a beachfront location in the resort of Costa Adeje. It’s built into the hillside so public areas and rooms (and villas) are on lots of different levels, despite the fact that the hotel was fully booked whilst we were there, with all the numerous pools, bars and restaurants. You never felt overcrowded. We were lucky to...

In August 2015, we sailed across to the beautiful channel island of Jersey from Portsmouth with our touring caravan for our two week summer family holiday. I had been to Jersey twice previously; once on a school trip aged 11 and another on a work educational some 22 years ago. Having loved this island on two previous occasions, I was really looking forward to visiting there with my husband and we were not disappointed. We stayed at Rozel Camping on Rozel Bay, a short walk or drive to the beach at Rozel Bay. We made the most of our stay with the...

We loved our first try at a villa holiday so much last Easter that we decided to return to the same place for Easter 2015, so we travelled again to the resort of Playa Blanca in the South of Lanzarote and we chose the Heredad Kamezi Villas again for our holiday as they were so good in 2014. We had previously stayed in a two bedroom villa last year at the Heredad Kamezi and were allocated a three bedroom villa this year, albeit the third bedroom was not in use and locked closed but it meant that we had even larger...
31 October 2014
On 31st October 2014, we travelled to Ribblesdale Park in Gisburn Lancashire for a weekend break over the kids half term holidays. Having previously stayed here in February 2014 with our in-laws and the kids for the weekend in a lovely renovated cottage with hot tub, this time we had chosen a two bedroom luxury lodge with a roll top bath in the master bedroom and we were not disappointed with the standard of accommodation. As it was Halloween the kids had dressed up appropriately and we made our way to the lovely restaurant/café and bar on-site Hindelini’s, (leaving the lit pumpkins...

In August 2014 we travelled again to the Vendee region in France with our touring caravan for our main family summer holiday but his time for a three week stay, with 10 days at one site we had chosen and 10 days back at the site we stayed at on 2014, as the kids liked it so much! We had visited this region five times previously on different holidays and trips as my husband’s aunt and uncle live in this region and we have spent happy family holidays and get togethers in the Vendee region. We took the overnight crossing with Brittany...
07 May 2014
We travelled to the resort of Playa Blanca in the South of Lanzarote, for our Easter family holiday on 17th April 2014 for 11 days. The last time we had visited Lanzarote was in 2011 when we stayed at a hotel in the same resort, this time we travelled with an (almost) 3 year old and 7 year old in tow so we decided to have a change from staying in an all-inclusive property in one room to staying in a villa with a private pool. We chose the Heredad Kamezi Villas to stay at, we chose this based on past...

On 29th December 2014, we travelled as a family of four to a lovely area of Shropshire for our four night stay over the New Year period in a luxury lodge with indoor sauna and outdoor hot tub at Black Hall Luxury Lodges. Black Hall offers a range of self-catering accommodation based in holiday lodges, log cabins, wigwams and converted barns, set on a working farm in the beautiful and unspoilt Shropshire Hills, set within landscaped grounds in an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. After a busy few weeks in the run up to Christmas and the New Year, we were so...

In August 2013 we travelled back to the Vendee region in France for our main summer holiday. This time there was myself, my husband and our 2 and 6 year old little girls. We had visited this region four times previously on different holidays and trips as my husband’s aunt and uncle live in this region and we have spent happy family holidays and get togethers in the Vendee. Our holiday was different to previous ones as this time we brought our touring caravan with us that we purchased last year. We knew from a trip in 2012 of...

On 16th May 2013 I had the pleasure of flying out to Abu Dhabi for 5 days for the annual Gold Travel Counsellors conference for 2013. I had never been to Abu Dhabi before but had an inkling of what it could be like having holidayed in Dubai twice before. With some Gold Travel Counsellor colleagues I took the overnight flight with Etihad from Manchester direct to Abu Dhabi. We arrived early in the morning at the 5* Fairmont Bab Al Bahr hotel which was our home for the next 3 nights. The pool, facilities and rooms were excellent with huge floor...
27 March 2013
On 27th of March myself, my husband, and our daughters aged 22 months and 6 years old, flew to Fuerteventura for a week of Easter sunshine. We left what felt like the longest winter in the UK behind and even as we boarded our aircraft at the end of March the snow had just started to fall again in Manchester! We stayed at the 4* Barcelo Fuerteventra Thalasso Spa hotel in Caleta De La Fuste. There are several Barcelo hotels in this resort but this had great past reviews and many of my colleagues had also recommended it to me as...
22 February 2013
In February I took a short break with two of my lovely old school buddies to Iceland. The trip had come about as my friend was keen to see “Aurora Borealis” or the “Northern Lights” as its most commonly known. The winter 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons are reported as the best time in 50 years to see the Northern Lights and hence our trip was planned. We flew with Icelandair from Manchester for a three night stay at the 4* Reykjavik Centrum hotel. This was a superb hotel, with great service, right in the centre of Reykjavik whereas most other hotels are...
08 February 2013
For the February half term weekend, my husband and my one year old and six year old little girls decided on a weekend away in the Lake District to one of our favourite Lakeland villages – Cartmel. We had stayed in many lodges before all around the UK and I have to say of the eight or so different lodges we had stayed at in the past, this in our opinion was the best by far. The lodge was an “Autograph Collection” property with 2 bedrooms which were both en-suite, an open plan lounge with log burner (great for those cosy winter...
05 April 2012
On 5th April 2012, my husband, 5 year old daughter and 11 month old daughter and I flew to Tenerife for a break seeking the sunshine over the Easter holidays. It had been some 11 years since my husband (then fiancé) and I had been to Tenerife on holiday and we were keen to see how the South of the Island had grown and developed in those years. We chose to stay at the 4* Isabel Family Hotel in Costa Adeje for 8 nights/9 days. I first came across this hotel when booking one of my lovely customers who travelled there...
24 October 2011
My husband, four year old daughter and five month old baby have just returned from the most wonderful autumn break staying in the resort of Puerto Mogan, Gran Canaria. We discovered the resort by chance almost three years ago when we were staying for a winter holiday in the neighbouring resort of Playa Taurito and we vowed if we went back to Gran Canaria we would stay only in the resort of Puerto Mogan. Puerto Mogan is a fishing village with white washed houses clinging to the hillside and a wonderful quaint harbour (the nicest on the island in my opinion)....
27 August 2011
My husband, four year old little girl, our four month old baby and I booked to stay at a lodge on the Devon/Somerset border for the last week of the children’s summer school holidays in August. As our baby was only 4 months we had decided to take a UK holiday rather than an overseas one and we had a wonderful time during our week down south! The lodge we stayed at was a two bedroom luxury Autograph lodge complete with hot tub, in the small hamlet of Whipcott Water, a mile or so from Holcome Rogus on the Somerset/Devon...
13 February 2011
My husband, 3 year old daughter and I travelled to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote for the school February half term week, we stayed at the Playa Flamingo Beach Resort on an all inclusive basis. The hotel is laid out in one bedroom apartment’s where you can opt for standard or superior accommodation, we paid the extra for the superior apartment and also for a late check-out room until our pick up was due to leave at approximately 5.30pm. The apartments were great with a separate bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living area and a wonderful balcony with views across the complex and...
03 October 2010
My husband, three year old daughter and I travelled to Paphos for a week in October to take advantage of the late summer sunshine. We stayed in the resort of Paphos for the week at the sister property to the four star Avanti Hotel, in the Avanti Village, which is a superb family complex. We booked on a bed and breakfast basis; breakfast could be taken “al fresco” in the poolside restaurant or over at the Avanti sister hotel in their indoor and outdoor restaurants. The one bedroom apartments that we stayed in were extremely spacious and could easily accommodate a...
28 August 2010
My husband, three year old daughter and I had been invited to a family wedding in Moutiers in the Vendee region of France, during the last week of August. We had visited this area twice before over the last 5 years and stayed with my husband’s relatives who live in Moutiers, but as they were going to have a full house with the wedding party we decided to rent a self catering property for the week close to the coast and some great beaches, so that we could enjoy what the Vendee region has to offer first hand. We flew into La...
24 June 2010
In June 2010 I travelled back with my husband and our three year old little girl to the lovely resort of Albir on the Costa Blanca. Albir is a somewhat hidden gem as it is nestled between the well-known resort of Benidorm (but a world away resort wise) and the town of Altea to the North of Albir. We had previously been to Albir two years earlier and stayed at my brothers apartment, but this year we decided to opt for the wonderful 4* Albir Playa Hotel and Spa and we were not disappointed. The hotel is not featured in any...

In June 2011 I joined my fellow Gold Travel Counsellors for the annual (and my first!) Gold Travel Conference to Las Vegas. Having visited Las Vegas some 14 years previous I was keen to see how the place had changed and was looking forward to what was in-store for us during our trip. Over the last few years the Las Vegas “Strip” has evolved immensely with large luxury hotels being built, the Wynn and Encore, the Palazzo and Venetian, the Aria and Vdara and the Mandalay Bay with the Hotel and Four Season, to name but a few. We arrived...
27 November 2009
My husband, 3 year old and I took a two week trip to Orlando, a short Bahamas cruise with Royal Caribbean and a stay at Cocoa Beach in Florida. Having not been to Orlando for some 15 years, there are an array of attractions and theme parks that have opened in that time. We stayed at the Doubletree Resort which had just been reopened after a major refurbishment, the hotel was situated just off International Drive and the hotel itself backed onto the grounds where Seaworld was, so you could actually use the back gate from our hotel to walk...
13 November 2009
My family and I travelled in November 2009 to Penvale Lake Lodges in Langollen – Wales The journey took us approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Manchester, so this is a great weekend short break location from the North West of England. Each of the lodges at Penvale are architect designed and these are configured as six different types and sizes from one storey two bedroom to two storey four bedroom lodges. We were booked into a three bedroom Saltspring VIP lodge, which meant that we also had the added luxury of a superb outdoor hot tub, which was a welcome addition...
10 July 2009
I travelled to the lovely Czech city Prague on a summer weekend educational break in July. Flying from Manchester with Czech airlines, we were transferred to our hotel (approximately a 20 minute journey) by car. We stayed in the 5* Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Prague. The hotel is housed in a former monastery with rooms dating back to the 14th century. It is located within the Mala Strict district in the picturesque “Little Quarter”, within easy walking distance of all the major tourist attractions and only a 5 minute walk to the famous Charles Bridge. The room I stayed in overlooked...
06 June 2009
My family and I had a superb week’s holiday in June 2009 at the Whitsand Bay Holiday Lodges, in Whitsand Bay Cornwall. The purpose of our trip was to go to a family wedding that was being held midweek at Polhawn Fort, a 5 minute drive from where we staying in Whitsand bay and hence we decided to make a week’s holiday of it. The majority of the luxury lodges on Whistsand Bay Lodge Park are privately owned and we were not disappointed on arriving at our lodge, after an easy drive down to Cornwall from Manchester. The lodge had...
13 April 2009
I travelled to Barcelona in the Easter holidays for a 3 day city break with my girl friends. The city of Barcelona is just a 2 hour flight from Manchester or Liverpool and a great short break city destination. The journey from the airport into Barcelona centre took us approximately 20 minutes and to avoid any hassle we had pre booked our transfers and the driver was waiting for us on arrival. We had booked to stay on the infamous “Las Ramblas” in Barcelona so that we could be close to bars and restaurants. The location of our hotel was perfect...
27 March 2009
My husband, our two year old daughter and I travelled in March to the resort of Whitbarrow Village in the Lake District nestled between Keswick and Penrith. Whitbarrow village is owned by Seasons Resorts and we had previously stayed there some 12 months earlier, when the new swimming pool and facilities were being built so we looked forward to going back. This time we booked to stay in one of the new luxury Ullswater apartments, which form part of the main complex in Whitbarrow Village. The apartments had been newly built in natural stone and were a great standard of accommodation. We...
06 December 2008
In search for a winter sunshine break on a budget, my husband, daughter and I booked to go to Playa Taurito in Gran Canaria. As a couple (before we became parents), we had visited Gran Canaria on a late deal holiday ten years previously and had hired a car whilst we were there and amongst the places we had visited we stumbled upon the resort of Playa Taurito. Playa Taurito is nestled into the mountainside and lies between the resorts of Puerto Rico and Puerto Mogan in the South West of the island. The resort is purpose built with...
22 August 2008
I travelled to York with my husband and little girl for the August Bank holiday weekend and stayed at “Home Farm” Country Lodges in Stillingfleet. We had booked the lodge specifically because it had easy access to York and the surrounding areas and it also had a lovely hot tub outside! The lodges are situated at Home Farm which is a working farm in Stillingfleet, approximately a 10 minute drive into York town centre. My daughter loved the fact that she could wake up in the morning and run to the window or outside the lodge and watch the cows grazing...
23 June 2008
My husband, 1 year old daughter and I travelled to the lovely resort of Albir on the Costa Blanca in June 2008. Albir is a peaceful hideaway, which combines the facilities of a modern beach resort with traditional Spanish character, particularly in the adjacent towns of Altea and L’ Alfas del Pi. Although the resort of Albir on the Costa Blanca is a neighbouring town of the infamous Benidorm I can assure you that it is a world away from the busy bright lights of Benidorm itself. Albir is no longer a tiny community of villa owners plus the odd apartment...
22 November 2007
Having travelled to Lanzarote in December 1999 for a winter holiday my husband, daughter and I decided to return for a week’s winter sunshine break in November 2007. We stayed in the resort of Costa Teguise on the East coast of the island in a one bedroom self catering apartment. Costa Teguise is a great resort that appeals to couples and families of all ages. There are a vast array of restaurants serving typically Spanish food, to superb steakhouses, Mediterranean dishes and seafood galore all washed down with Sangria, Spanish beers or a cocktail or two. If you manage to...

We decided to go with Emma based on the reviews on her website and we agree with everyone 100%, she was fantastic!! Emma gave us plenty of options around our budget and did all the research on our behalf. Emma worked around our availability whenever we needed to talk to her and answered any questions we had more or less immediately. Thank you for finding us an amazing resort in Mauritius for our honeymoon. We cannot wait for November. 100% would recommend!

I have just booked our second family holiday with Emma and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Emma is so informative, friendly and helpfull, all you need to do is tell her where you fancy going and within no time at all ( sometimes even the same day) she will get a brochure across to you with a range of choices. I have just booked for Lanzarote and having never been before, Emma advised me on the best places to stay and did all the hard work for me, she even sorted out our my airport lounge booking! Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you Emma for making it all so easy, we will definitely be back again next year ??.

Emma is a total professional, and worked tirelessly to help us find the perfect holiday. Her insight was invaluable and I would recommend her to anyone who knows what they want but hasn’t the time to trawl the internet looking for it. She was able to secure us a great deal. We will use Emma again (and again!) as we couldn’t be happier. Thanks Emma!

Booking a family holiday to include 3 generations and all their individual needs can be stressful. Emma took into account all our requirements and made the whole experience seamless offering us lots of options. We can't wait for our summer holiday to Croatia. Thank you again Emma

We have booked many holidays through Emma now and the reason we keep going back is because of how easy she makes it for us. She gives us a lot of options based around the budget we want to spend and does all the research and leg work for us. Most holidays we just turn up as it’s all ready been done! Emma is patient when we have booked group holidays too, when it’s been more complicated trying to fulfil the everyone’s needs. When we have come across issues when we are there eg/cancelled flights, Emma keeps us fully informed by text, email and phone calls. She has even worked on her day off to make sure we were ok. Emma has also usually been to the resorts or has recommendations from others who have been there so tries to get first hand feedback before we book. I’d thoroughly recommend using Emma and Travel Counsellors for a stress free booking experience.

We are looking forward to our summer 2020 holiday, thanks again Emma for all of your help with organising.

Emma was brilliant! I get nervous looking for holidays incase we pay more than we should. I set Emma a fairly low budget for a family holiday including two under 5s. She came through with it and literally took her a day to find! Super fast and fab customer care, thanks again! Looking forward to our trip to Turkey! Xx

When choosing our summer holiday destination in January Emma found several resorts in different countries. Her advice on the countries to focus on to suit us as a family was excellent. Nothing is ever too much trouble to her she makes certain we are happy with our choices and covers all the extra hidden details we would undoubtedly forget.

I wanted to book a 'surprise' trip to NYC for my son as a Christmas present. Emma was fantastic through the whole process, listened to what I wanted and tailored the trip according to my requirements. Having done trips through Emma before I know it will be perfect as her choices for previous hotels have been above my expectations ........ So excited I cannot wait to see his face on Christmas Day, thank you so much Emma ??

We have used Emma to help us book short City breaks on several occasions now and every time her skill / efficiency in understanding the brief and then delivering a really great trip has been first class, I would recommend her to all my friends and colleagues and have!! She has also helped us plan and source some of our summer holidays with such an understanding of our requirements that in future I am tempted to just leave it all to Emma!! Great work.

We have just returned from Lanzarote where we were delayed by the sandstorm. Emma has been fantastic, she was in touch by text and phone during the delay keeping us informed about jet 2 times etc. Not only did she forward messages from them she also rang them to get the latest information. I cannot praise her professionalism in this matter and would not hesitate to recommend her services to anyone. In fact they would be mad to use any one else. She has booked many holidays for us over the years including a Fred Olsen cruise this summer and each time she has been a pleasure to deal with and nothing is too much trouble. Thanks Emma for your hard work.

I couldn't recommend Emma's services more highly! She is so incredibly helpful and really goes the extra mile to find your perfect holiday. Emma delivers on requests quickly and is always happy to answer questions and if she doesn't know the answer - she'll find it for you! In addition Emma always thinks of everything and ensures the process and your holiday goes smoothly. As a bonus, the holiday prices Emma finds are always very competitive and excellent value. I share her details with all our family and friends when they are looking to book a holiday.

Booked with my TC Emma today, she knows exactly what we require better than we do! We just tell her where & know the booking will be excellent. Everything is so organised from Emma as I require airport assistance & have mobility issues so Emma is aware of my requirements & we can go on holiday without any worries. I would score Emma 10/10 as when we are away I know everything will be perfect.

Wahhhhhhhhhh thannnnk youuuu! I’m so friggin excited! Can’t believe I’ve just booked our most expensive holiday ever! Thanks for all of your help and passion. I’ve spoken to a few people who have sent quotes over but you’ve definitely got the personal touch, taking time to call me, go back and forth to the company to ask questions and come back to me straight away. Plus you’ve experienced it all too so can really go into detail what it’s like. I’ll pass your details on to everyone I know! Thank you so much
