You’ll begin your exciting adventure in South Africa’s ‘Mother City’ of Cape Town, home to the iconic Table Mountain and some remarkable history. Setting sail, make your way around the wild coast of Namibia. Visit the country’s most well-known ghost town of Kolmanskop in colonial Luderitz and choose between a visit to Sandwich Harbour Lagoon or Namib Naukluft National Park in beautiful Walvis Bay. Several relaxing days at sea follow, before some time in the Angolan capital of Luanda, where you’ll visit the Palacio de Ferro designed by Gustav Eiffel. Cruise the Atlantic Ocean and celebrate the maritime tradition of ‘Crossing the Line’ as you pass over the equator to Bom Bom Island.
Praia in Cape Verde and Las Palmas in the Canaries are next, followed by the incredible sights, sounds and atmosphere of Morocco. Take an overnight land tour to the famous souks of exotic Marrakesh, discover legendary Casablanca and explore Tangier at the mouth of the Mediterranean. Disembarking in Malaga, you’ll then transfer to the airport for your flight home. With plenty of glorious 'at sea' days onboard the Aegean Odyssey, there'll be lots of time to make the most of her superb selection of amenities, which include two dining venues, several comfortable lounges and bars, a relaxing spa centre and a well-stocked library.
