All you need to know

Eating and Drinking

All meals are included with your stay, including freshly baked treats before you set off on your morning game drive and goodies mid-morning. Choose from the menu or ask the chefs to whip up something you’d like! All drinks are included with your package too, so you can enjoy local fine wines and Champagne. A private dining experience can be arranged, and there’s room service, too.

Entertainment

There are two daily game drives over the 13,500 hectares of private reserve. Aside from spotting the big five and other wildlife, there’s plenty to do! See how many stars you can name when you spend an evening stargazing at the bush observatory. Rangers are on hand with expert knowledge if you can’t quite remember the names of the constellations! Go on a safari walk with a ranger. Sample delicious local wines and enjoy a tailored wine tasting in the Safari Lodge wine cellar. Overlooking the waterhole and dry riverbed, you can spot all sorts of wildlife while sipping your wine!

Kids

Little ones of any age can join the Cub’s Club and enjoy a range of activities. Each child receives a Cub’s Club Backpack filled with goodies, and there are also children’s amenities in each room. As part of the Cub’s Club, there’s bedtime storytelling with milk and biscuits, safari walks, cookery lessons, arts and crafts, DVDs and much more!

Swimming Pools

There are two outdoor swimming pools at Ulusaba, and both are heated during the winter months.

Sports

There are two floodlit tennis courts and a gym equipped with a running machine, bike, multifunctional weight station and free weights.

Spa and Wellness

Guests can indulge in one of the two spas, as there is one at each of the lodges. After a day spent spotting the big five, unwind with a treatment to soothe tired limbs. Located 800 feet above the sweeping plains sits Aroma Boma at Rock Lodge. Tucked away amongst the trees, on the banks of the dry Mabrak riverbed, sits Aroma Boma at Safari Lodge.

Activities

As well as tennis, safari walks, spa treatments and swimming, there’s also a volunteering programme for guests, where you can find out about the lives of the people who live in the area you’re visiting.
