Up until now I’ve been a DIY holiday maker and never considered the powers of independent travel advice and support. It was therefore intriguing to have our first 121 as it coincided with plans for a “once in a lifetime” trip – I just didn’t know where to. Tentatively I thought I’d make an enquiry and throughout working with you I’ve been blown away by just how considerate, experienced, knowledgeable and patient you have been. Every step you’ve taken has been considered with us in mind. It’s a joy to work with you. We started this with no clue and so travelled to Costa Rica, Thailand, South Africa which all have natural wonders and cultural charm – you did a lot of work providing options for us. The plan is the well-trodden Florida trip but with a few special twists. Yes, Florida is not seeing Sloths in Costa Rican rainforest, but Florida is entirely suitable for our young family right now. Not only will we be visiting Disney and Universal, but we’ll be staying in a luxury Villa, going to Cape Canaveral, swimming with Manatees, driving the Florida Keys, partying in Miami and even spent three nights aboard a cruise to the Bahamas. This trip has surpassed all expectations and I should add I genuinely don’t know how you’ve managed to achieve it all within our budget – it’s exceptional value for what we’re getting. Late on in the process, my best mate’s Mum sadly passed away unexpectedly and so Jeff has inherited some money and wanted it to make it a double family holiday. This was all very last minute and I’ve no doubt this caused a bit of extra work for you, but I’d never have known it. You’ve been nothing but kind and generous. Thank you ever so much – it’s lovely to “have” a travel agent!

For all those thinking of booking a holiday this year, I cannot recommend Sally enough. After a very difficult year for us all last year I was back and forward whether to take a holiday abroad, then I met Sally! Sally put me at ease straight away, she outlined the pro’s and the risks of having to come back into the country having to isolate for two weeks upon arrival back into the UK. We discussed a number of destinations and I I decided to go to Crete, at that point Crete was not on the quarantine list but there was a big chance it could be within weeks of me going, not once was I unaware of the situation , Sally kept me updated weekly if not daily with what was happening and helped me understand the additional covers I could take to help protect me against a number of scenarios that could occur. By the time I arrived at the airport I knew what was expected of me both at the airport and on the plane, unfortunately within days of me being in Crete Boris hit and I would need to quarantine. While I was sunning myself, my phone pinged and it was Sally giving me a full update on what was happening back home and put me at ease to help me enjoy the rest of my holiday, stress free!! As we all know when we are on holiday we can forget about the real world and our brains start to run backwards, a few days before me going home Sally once again reminded me of the forms that would ned to be completed for me to get back into the country, thank god for Sally because I had had one too many beers and I had forgot that this needed doing. 2020 was a horrible time for everyone due to COVID-19 but I can honestly say the 10 days holiday I took was the closest I got to normal and saved my mental state, thanks to Sally it was completely stress free, I felt protected and I could forget the rest of the world for the 10 days I was away. You MUST speak to Sally !

At first I was very sceptical about using a travel consultant as I thought prices would be very high, so when Kathryn was recommended to me I didn’t think she would be able to compete with Booking.com and online flight booking centres well I was proven wrong. Kathryn asked me what I wanted, what type of holiday and budget I was looking at, she then came back with a variety of hotels for me to look at and all with great prices and cheaper than Booking.com so was totally shocked.. we then decided on a date and hotel for Bali March 2021.. when there was a change to our flight Kathryn called me straight away and went through options and got all the amendments changed for us.. nearer to the time it was looking like March 2020 was no longer an option and Kathryn again came to the rescue and changed all our details to June 2021 also helping me arrange a wedding renewal ceremony as would be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary whilst we would be in Bali.. but again Covid got in the way and again Kathryn has now arranged to transfer our holiday to May 2022.. I am so grateful that I have Kathryn to turn too to make all these amendments for us and keeping us in the loop with everything I couldn’t have done it myself so I am very happy with the amazing service we have and would recommend her services to anyone booking a holiday

I have known Su for a number of years and have been using her services for that period. Su was recommended to me by a couple on a cruise and everything they claimed Su had done for them, she has done for me. Su has organised a number of holidays and add-on services and have yet to experience any problems. When we’ve been travelling, I’ve contacted Su when issues have cropped up, such as not being able to check in online for a flight when we were on a motorway without a secure signal. Su not only got us booked in but also managed to get complimentary access to that airline’s first-class lounge as an apology by the airline. Finally, we were in Australia when Covid 19 broke out in February 2020 and cancelled existing return arrangements involving a flight to a ‘hot-spot’ and a cruise back to the UK from there. The cruise line went bust and ABTA rejected our claim, Su managed to get 90% of our monies returned. I cannot thank her enough for all she has done for us and have complete confidence in her and have no hesitation in recommending her to future clients.

I recently contacted Kerri with regards to finding us a couple of breaks to look forward to after a long year of lockdown. I wanted to book a lovely night away with my partner which wasn’t too far away from home due to the nature of my partners work and, to also have a weekend on the lakes somewhere for my Birthday later on this summer.
