Fly into Santa Cruz de Tenerife from the UK, and transfer to the Scenic Eclipse for the beginning of your voyage. Before you set sail, take the time to explore this intriguing place, home to the Basilica of Candelaria shrine and the wave-shaped Ausitoria de Tenerife arts venue. Once you embark, raise a glass with your fellow passengers as you head towards beautiful Funchal.
You'll have the day to discover garden island Madeira’s picturesque capital Funchal. Explore the famous flora at the Jardim Orquieda orchid farm, tour the ornate Cathedral of Funchal or stroll across the nearby Praia Formosa pebble beach. You can sip coffee in the Place de Nations city square, tour Moorish architecture, and ride the waves at one of the surf schools along the La Corniche shoreline.
