We’ve seen a lot of exciting developments in UK cruising recently with a number of our favourite cruise lines announcing that they’ll be setting sail once again this year with itineraries across the UK. These staycations at sea have been very popular so we’ve created a roundup of everything you need to know about UK cruising this year.
UK domestic sailings have been brought in line with the rest of the travel industry, allowing them to operate from mid May (at the earliest) as part of the Government’s anticipated scaling down of travel restrictions.
These sailings will be departing from ports across the UK with some making stop offs at ports along the route while others will simply be at sea for the duration of the trip, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the superb service and facilities onboard.
Cruise lines each have their own individual policies relating to the requirement for passengers to have received their Covid-19 vaccinations before travelling so please speak to your Travel Counsellor for more details.
Cunard are offering a collection of 13 new itineraries on board Queen Elizabeth, exclusively for UK guests, that will be on sale from 31st March.
Sailing from July from Southampton and back, these itineraries will give you the chance to absorb the beauty of Britain’s ever-changing coastline with scenic sailings, explore sparkling cities on UK shores, and embark on the perfect summertime journey.
Princess Cruises’ all-inclusive summer sailings are now on sale. The series of short breaks and week-long sailings on board Medallion Class ships, Regal and Sky Princess, are scheduled to depart from Southampton from 31st July up until 28th September 2021, making stops at iconic UK ports such as Liverpool, Belfast and Glasgow along the way.
