If you’re searching for a holiday for the whole family, look no further than a Carnival Cruise Line voyage. With some of the largest cruise ships in the world, Carnival’s vessels have so many things to see, do and enjoy. From delicious dining and fabulous bars and lounges to spacious accommodation and fun-filled entertainment and activities, a Carnival cruise has plenty to keep kids – both big and little – occupied.
"I've sailed with Carnival before and there was so much to do onboard, it would keep anyone entertained for hours. From the rides, to basketball, to the waterpark, there's lots to do and my children absolutely loved it. The swimming pools are fabulous and plentiful, with adults-only areas. But my favourite part was the main pool deck, where I found myself lazing in the sun enjoying a fewcocktails and watching The Greatest Showman on the big screen."

Last month, Carnival revealed its plans for the highly-anticipated Mardi Gras, the line’s most innovative ship to date. Set to debut in 2020, it will offer an extensive array of popular Carnival guest favourites along with new and exciting experiences.
Throughout Mardi Gras’ 20 decks, guests will find fun, memorable ways to create their own personalised vacation with dining, entertainment, recreation and relaxation options. Accommodation on board Mardi Gras will include more than 20 different stateroom categories and multiple levels of spacious and luxurious suites.
The six zones of Mardi Gras invite guests to stroll through the ship and enjoy only-on-Mardi Gras features along with signature elements that are the embodiment of Carnival’s offering, with opportunities for guests to relax, recharge and reconnect with family and friends.
The Ultimate Playground: The aptly-named Ultimate Playground will span three decks, offering guests amazing sea views as they soak up the sun and fun in this spacious family-friendly play area. This district will be home to the largest and most elaborate Carnival WaterWorks aqua park in the fleet, as well as the much-anticipated BOLT: Ultimate Sea Coaster, the first rollercoaster at sea, where riders will race along an 800-foot-long track reaching speeds of nearly 40 miles per hour.
Grand Central: Creating a sense of wonder the moment guests step on board, the transformative Grand Central takes the concept of an atrium to new heights and combines non-stop entertainment with deck-high floor-to-ceiling windows and a bar overlooking starboard – the perfect venue for socialising and people-watching.
There’s also the first-ever dedicated Carnival comedy club, Punchliner, where guests can enjoy side-splitting nightly shows, and the always-popular Piano Bar 88 where you will be treated to live music performances in an intimate setting.
Lido: Enjoy various casual poolside restaurants with favourites such as Guy’s Burger Joint, the New England-inspired Seafood Shack and Bluelguana Cantina Mexican eatery.
French Quarter: In a nod to New Orleans, the French Quarter will combine lively entertainment with an excellent food scene and will be lined with new bars, music and eateries that capture the spirit of the Big Easy. There’s also a traditional New Orleans jazz club with live entertainment and refreshing, hand-crafted drinks.
La Piazza: At La Piazza, guests are transported to Italy where they can celebrate the rich heritage of Carnival’s senior officers with authentic cuisine including casual family-style dining at Cucina del Capitano, the 24-hour Pizzeria del Capitano and a Mediterranean-themed seafood restaurant. There’s also a bar where guests can savour cappuccino by day or classic Italian drinks at night to the sound of roaming musicians.
Summer Landing: Designed as the ultimate hang-out spot, Summer Landing will be home to an expanded Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse Brewhouse with barbecued favourites created by long-time Carnival partner and celebrity chef, Guy Fieri. For summer-inspired fun outdoors, there will be a pool and whirlpools, a new bar and ample lounging spaces making this the ideal spot to enjoy all the fun that a Carnival vacation experience delivers.
