We live in a world where we cannot tell the photoshopped from the authentic, but the Maldives is the real deal, and no one could feel mislead or disappointed when they arrive! Scattered like jewels across the Indian Ocean, the Seychelles is an archipelago of islands with paradise beaches, crystal-clear waters and breath-taking landscapes, making it an ideal place to relax and unwind.

While many prefer to laze on the powder-white sands, the more adventurous may enjoy hiking the rocky middles of the island of Mahé.

This is hands down this is the most beautiful location I have ever visited. It’s heaven on Earth. The Seychelles is also home to exquisite beaches. We ate lunch at a local beachfront restaurant and the food was amazing as was the hospitality.”

Must-do attraction:

Recognised by UNESCO for its cultural and historical value, Sigiriya is Sri Lanka’s most dramatic sight. The rock rises from the plains and you'll have to climb a series of a vertiginous staircase to reach the top, where you will be treated to ancient ruins and stunning views.

"One of my favourite parts of the trip was the climb of over 1,200 steps to the top of Sigiriya, also known as the Lion Rock. Considered the eighth wonder of the world, Sigiriya was built in the fifth century by King Kasyappa. We arrived on a feast day and there were huge crowds, so the climb took about two hours. The views from the top of the rock were incredible and I experienced a huge sense of achievement."
