Ras al Khaimah

02 October 2017

Ras Al Khaimah is literally translated as ‘top of the tent’ due to its location at the northern tip of the United Arab Emirates. It benefits from year round sunshine and, although milder than the rest of the UAE, the climate is generally hot and dry with temperatures exceeding 35C in July and August.

Ras Al Khaimah is one of the fastest growing tourism destinations in the world, boasting a rich culture and long-standing history dating back 7,000 years. With an array of archaeological sites, breath-taking natural vistas and Jebel Jais, the highest mountain in the UAE, this destination is perfect if you want a more cultured or adventure-based holiday.

Highlights of Ras Al Khaimah

Water Adventures – With 64 kilometres of coastline, Ras Al Khaimah is the ideal location for water activities. The clear blue waters provide the perfect conditions for scuba diving, snorkelling, sailing and water skiing. For nature lovers, kayaking in the mangroves can be an unforgettable experience.
