Travel Counsellors tops the chart

We’re delighted to see that Travel Counsellors has reached number one in a survey by reviewing customer experience with travel companies during the Coronavirus pandemic. This independent finding is testament to the strong relationships we share with our customers, and the care and support shown by everyone in the Travel Counsellors community in helping customers through this difficult time.

The survey initiated by, the finance and consumer affairs site founded by Martin Lewis, was completed by over 27,000 people and names Travel Counsellors as the travel business that comes out on top.

Survey respondents were asked for their rating, feedback and experiences of dealing with companies like Travel Counsellors, with firms ranked by subtracting the percentage of poor experiences from those who had great experiences with the company. From 1-11 May, the survey asked travellers to rate the support travel companies are providing to customers with travel plans affected by COVID-19.

Travel Counsellors CEO, Steve Byrne, said, “I’m really pleased for everyone in the Travel Counsellors community that we have been ranked the number one travel firm for looking after customers during the COVID-19 pandemic by Notwithstanding the real human consequences of the pandemic, many people have also had their hard-earned travel plans and holidays curtailed or cancelled. Therefore we’ve remained focussed on taking care of our customers, providing personalised advice, assurance and support – from helping customers to come home as borders closed across the globe, to rearranging their plans for the time when we can travel the world again.

The survey ranking follows Travel Counsellors being named as winners of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise for the third time in the company’s history last month. With all winners personally approved by Her Majesty The Queen, the prestigious accolade recognises excellence in British business.
