I booked a holiday cottage for the whole family through Caroline Dawson. Sadly, the holiday was cancelled at short notice due to the Covid19 restrictions. Whilst disappointed, I cannot praise Caroline enough. Booking the cottage initially was so easy. Caroline researched available cottages having collected a list of essential and desirable criteria from my family. Within a couple of days, she had identified 5 possibilities which were all excellent value and perfectly located. During the pandemic, the communication with Caroline was excellent; we received regular updates and advice from her. Once the decision was made to postpone, Caroline made all the necessary arrangements with the holiday provider and a full refund was made within a few days. I will certainly re-book the cottage at the first opportunity. Thank you, Caroline, for your hard work, commitment, and efficiency. Enfys has been brilliant to deal with ever since we first started planning a trek to Everest Base Camp over a year ago. Not only did she completely move the holiday for us (and my uncle and aunt) once when our plans changed, and once when we then cancelled our holiday. She liaised both with the tour company and the airline with the minimum of fuss and all it needed from me was one phone call to Enfys. Our refunds swiftly followed and as a result I would have no hesitation in recommending Enfys and Travel Counsellors when planning your holiday. On the positive side of things, Enfys successfully found us a luxury lodge in Shropshire between Lockdowns and planned a trip to Lapland. We will return to the latter when the lockdown has ended and probably go there in 2022. In fact, she will be getting a lot of phone calls from us from Spring onwards as we her need to organise my 60th trip to Italy, rebook Nepal and probably about half a dozen other requests to catch up for lost time. Enfys is a complete star and I highly recommend her!

Karen Thornton has been exceptionally helpful from the first minute we spoke. I’ve never used a travel agent before and she has changed my mind forever. Partly because of her outstanding work ethic and wanting to please us throughout the process and even to the day we landed home. Karen has such a vast knowledge of all areas in Saint Lucia, from the hotels, excursions and even the hotel staff. All the staff seem to know her and also speak highly of her. Booking a holiday during the government restrictions must be a nightmare! Especially when our flights got cancelled twice! If we didn’t have Karen to fix all of our problems I don’t think we would have gone. So I can’t thank her enough for that. She is also the nicest and caring lady and we highly recommend using her! After initial enquiry regarding a weekend away in Chester, Mark provided us plenty of exciting and varied options. After consideration and back-to-back interaction, we booked a beautiful Hilton hotel just off the city of Chester. The booking process was flawless, providing personal details and payment (which was taken securely). Mark made it very clear to get in contact, through various methods, if we were to struggle or have any questions throughout the process. The day before our getaway, Mark re-sent all booking confirmations and details to make sure we had all the relevant information. Then, on arrival, no questions were asked and we got booked straight into the stunning resort. I will definitely be booking with Mark for any future getaways.

Jess helped to arrange, research and book a holiday for me and my girlfriend. Once she understood our budget, places of interest, ideal outward and inward flight options and things we would like to do. She presented us with a lot of different options with detailed explanations along with personal recommendations to help us make the right decision. I had never tried a travel agent before I had spoken to Stephen, he was recommended by a friend who told us to give him a call. From the beginning it was a completely different experience!! Stephen tries his best 100% of the time from the start to the finish to do what he can to make you happy. He makes the whole process just so simple, stress free and actually quite enjoyable! Unfortunately for us we have had a couple of cancellations due to travel restrictions but Stephen has been amazing throughout, I didn't have to worry about a thing as I knew he was on it and working hard to sort things out for us, whether it was a total cancellation or moving the date/hotel/flight Stephen did everything for us and quick too!!!! This is such a different experience to booking with a big travel company, your not just left hanging on the end of a phone wondering and worrying. I think one of the nicest things about Stephen is he genuinely loves his job!! He loves talking about travel and is very knowledgeable on lots of different places, it really shines through when he is helping to book your holiday. From the tiny wee details to the very big things that you want or need or haven't even thought of he is right there, trying to make sure you have the best holiday!! I highly recommend Stephen to anyone looking to book any sort of a break and I will continue to use him for all of our trips as he just a different class!

Can't recommend Barbara highly enough. Recommended by a friend who regularly uses her, I decided to ask Barbara to quote for a Christmas break to the Maldives for myself and my family, despite rarely using a travel agent & preferring to book independently. Barbara easily eclipsed several other travel agents in Prestbury and Wilmslow who were coming up with holidays that were either over-priced or ignored our specifications. Barbara found several options of great flights and excellent resorts and we had a brilliant break with our end choice; it was as if covid hadn't happened for two weeks. Prior to booking, all my questions were answered super promptly, regardless of whether it was weekend or evening, Barbara personally delivered all our paperwork and sorted all our check ins and boarding passes, and when we decided to extend our stay last minute while out in the maldives Barbara sorted everything - on Christmas Eve!!! She is fantastic, I would recommend her expert personal service to anyone. Thank you Barbara!

Having recently booked my holiday to the Canary Islands with Tracy I have to say what a truly refreshing experience it was. Tracy's attention to detail is second to none and she provides a friendly and personal service which is highly commendable. Tracy was attentive to every detail and, during these trying and stressful times, she went above and beyond her duties to ensure all aspects were covered and I was totally at ease in letting her handle everything that was required. When I needed to complete forms etc for testing etc Tracy was available for advice and she did everything and more to ensure all went smoothly. When situations changed Tracy was there with all the current advice and I felt totally at ease throughout the whole process. Sadly the holiday had to be cancelled due to Covid rules changing but, once again, Tracy was there to support and advise me regarding refunds available and I actually felt sorry I had to cancel with her. All in all an excellent service by a lovely lady who is a credit to Travel Counsellors and I will definitely be booking with in 2021 as it was a superb service which I would highly recommend.

With everything that has been happening i have been putting off booking my Stag Do. Having spoken with James Houtby he helped find multiple venues that suited everyone who was invited. Emma provided me with an effortless, fantastic experience. First time I've used a travel councilor. Enjoyed a trip of a life time to the Maldives from Emma's recommendation. I was worried about booking a holiday with all the coronavirus restrictions , but Emma provided me with all the information and required documentation. At short notice I extended my holiday by 3 nights whilst I was in the Maldives. The alteration was done hassle free.
