My trip started in London Victoria where I was welcomed and looked after instantly before stepping back in time on board my luxury train. The décor was really beautiful and well looked after.
The route itself went through towns and villages and we even passed a stunning deer farm. Very picturesque.
I have never felt more relaxed than I did on Friday. There's a calming feeling as you go through the ever-changing English countryside, the carriages are fabulous and the staff on board are super friendly and really look after you to make it a day to remember. You settle in seconds after boarding.
5 courses later (fine dining, silver service). I'm feeling very satisfied as the food was simply divine. We decided to pay a further £21pp to upgrade to a bottle of champagne and had a fantastic day.
You do get red/white 1/2 bottle of wine included each should you choose not to upgrade.
