Viva Las Vegas - What you need to know before visiting!

The entertainment capital of the world offers just about everything. It's hard to know what to do first as it really offers something for everyone.

On the strip, many of the best things in Vegas are actually free. Walking round the hotels and casinos is free and you can window shop until your heart is content. The strip by night is how it is supposed to be seen, remember comfy shoes as you will do a lot of walking. The forum at Caesar’s combine shopping, entertainment and dining. Theme casinos TI (Treasure Island), New York, Luxor and so many more visiting the hotels is all part of the experience.

Older hotels from the 50’s-70’s check out Ballys and Riviera in downtown Vegas, easily reached by the regular bus services from the strip to downtown. On Freemont street see Viva Vision, the world’s largest graphic display. Feeling daring? Check out Slotzilla - zip lining to bring out your inner superman. It's worth pre booking to save time queuing and helps budget for everything you'll want to do. I also really enjoyed the Mob museum and the neon boneyard you can easily spend a full day downtown.

Impersonators from Elvis to Marilyn Monroe, keep your eyes open and look out for many celebrities who live in Vegas.

The Venetian evokes accurate images of Venice and why not try a gondola ride. At Caesars Palace Cleopatra’s floating barge is a floating lounge.

Bellagio very sophisticated, even in the casino. Book into Olives if you wish to dine and overlook the lake. The spa is a great way to relax on an afternoon and don’t forget to check out the fountain display which is also free.

Luxor is one of the most distinctive hotels on the strip check out the giant sphinx.

Casinos 1. Monte Carlo – Slot club is known to be superior to most. 2. Rio – upbeat theme and noticeable uniforms. 3. Harrah’s – offers value for money. 4. Aria – for a high tech gambling experience. 5. Golden nugget – ideal to take in the Freemont street experience.

Buffet/Salad/Brunch Bellagio is famous for its buffet with over 60 dishes or TI BBQ, pizzas and a wide variety of sushi. If you want a healthier option check out sweet tomato salad bar custom made omelettes.

Luxury dining check out Andres in the Monte Carlo old world charm with a modern twist. My customers rate the cosmopolitan as the best buffet I enjoyed the Paris hotels but if you want choice a buffet meal is the way to go. Note no need to eat the day before or after so arrive hungry

Rides 1. New York – Big ride apple roller coaster 2. High Roller this can be pre booked 3. Big Shot Soar off into space as you're launched 160 feet in a mere 2.5 seconds at 45 mph, getting a taste of weightlessness as 4 Gs lift you literally off your seat. 4. Desperado Plummet 209-feet through a tunnel and 155 feet down a spiral, reaching speeds of close to 90 mph on one of the tallest coasters in the country. 5. Insanity Rising 68 feet over the edge of the 1,149-foot Stratosphere, Insanity spins passengers at up to 3 Gs, serving up views of the Strip as you rush down.
