Why Cruising is the easy solution for a family holiday to suit all the family!

The right family trip to suit parents, kids and grandparents can sometimes be a challenge. A cruise holiday is no longer just one for the bucket list, it’s a strong contender for an alternative family holiday for multigenerational families. On board there really is something for everyone. With activities and entertainment going on throughout your cruise.

Every day is action packed. From rock climbing walls to waterslides, ice skating, surf simulators, Broadway shows and bumping cars. Teens to tots are entertained on board in a safe environment. No one thinks of the kids better than cruise lines. They cater so well for all different children’s age groups. As young as 6 months old can be catered for in the nurseries and kid’s clubs.

Royal Caribbean is one of many cruise lines I’d be confident sending my clients on. They cater well for all budgets from an affordable interior cabin to stunning family suites that offer a luxurious stay there is a cabin for every family. I can arrange connecting suites for the modern larger family and they can be next door to each other. To offer privacy and convenience. They’re also embracing Autism at sea which means I can have my clients looked after well with a friendly autism initiative making families at ease when they travel with children with special needs. Other things Royal do to help families include priority check in, dietary menu, kid’s films, sensory toys and much more. Staff benefit from further training to have a positive impact on families traveling with passengers with development disabilities.

You may want to now consider a cruise for your next family trip. A lot of my clients like the ease of getting onboard in Southampton with no flights needed. There are many bonuses of cruises departing from the UK such as no flying, no airport lengthy waits, starting your holiday off much sooner, no luggage restrictions etc. This is just to name a few but already the picture you can create of your own family holiday starting off is a lot easier and stress free.

I’ve cruised from the UK many times and from overseas so please contact me for any questions you may have. There are no silly questions.

Cuisine on a cruise has so many influences from all over the globe and for any fussy passengers or anyone with food allergies this is a great way to ensure you do not go hungry. You have many food eateries available from simple to classic and extravagant to contemporary most ships cater for all tastes and budgets. You can get ships with kid’s menus. Cruise ships generally cater for all dietary requests at no extra charge. This is something I can tell the ship about your needs in advance. My tip is to buy loose clothing as you are never hungry. Another bonus on a cruise is they cater well for large groups offering flexibility when you eat and tables sizes to suit all.

I touched briefly on activities on board some ships, each ship offers a variety of activities and entertainment. Please get in touch and I can help you choose the right cruise line and ship for your family.
