Koh Samui - All
Hello. My name is James and I am a Travel Counsellor from Truro in glorious Cornwall. Originally from my neighbouring county of Devon, I have lived in Truro for more than 3 years and love being able to explore its beautiful coastline with my family, and especially my 21-month old adventurous son, Perran.
I have worked in the travel industry for over 13 years and have always had a keen interest in all things travel. Before working in travel, I was a Hospitality Manager and was lucky enough to work all over the world, from Australia to Turkey, as well as working on board cruise ships sailing to many exotic destinations, including Hawaii, Central America, Alaska and the Caribbean. I also spent several months exploring South East Asia, especially enjoying Thailand, Cambodia, Malaysia & Singapore.
My favourite destination is usually the most recent place I have visited, but my heart always takes me back to Australia and the USA as there is so much beauty and diversity in both destinations, meaning they are loved by most travellers. I also feel that I know Australia, Asia and the USA like the back of my hand as I have visited on numerous occasions and lived in Australia for over 4 years, plus I tend to travel to Asia as regularly as possible, each time seeing somewhere new. As an animal lover, I also have an affinity with South Africa and was lucky enough to go on safari recently, which will always be a lifetime highlight.
Available virtually 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, I love the flexibility being a Travel Counsellor gives me as I can work to suit your specific requirements at a time that suits you best. The backing of a major company gives you reassurance that your booking is handled by the very best of the best and that the systems and procedures I use give me access to a wide range of specialist products and services at especially negotiated prices. The vast network of travel arrangements I have at my fingertips means I can put together various types of trip, from a package, cruise, car hire, tours or even just the flights or accommodation by themselves.
I enjoy planning my own holidays with meticulous detail and I would love to do the same with your booking, taking all of the stress away. Whether you’re looking for a weekend break in the UK, a week's escape to a white sand paradise or a complex trip of a lifetime, I’d love to hear from you. I look forward to speaking to you soon.
Whatever your holiday needs I'm here to help you, so please either fill in and send the form below or simply give me a call and I can get things started for you:-

I approached James earlier this year when I was looking to arrange a helicopter trip over the Grand Canyon. From our first correspondence he was brilliant, always really quick to reply, nothing was ever too much trouble and he managed to find the perfect trip for us within my budget! I would not hesitate to recommend James to all my family and friends. I will definitely be in touch to arrange my next holiday away.

I had never been to Indonesia before, so ticking off a new country was really exciting for me. However, nothing quite prepared me for how much I would fall in love with Indonesia’s natural beauty, its culture, the Indonesian people and the wildlife. When you think of Indonesia, probably the first thing you would think about is Bali. This is where my Indonesian experience started, but I had often wondered whether there was much to discover away from Bali. After more than a week of relaxing on Bali, a 45 minute bus journey took me to the airport again, then it...

1. San Francisco is home to the crookedest street in the world. Lombard Street in San Francisco is one of the most famous streets in the world, having featured in films such as Vertigo, The Love Bug and Bullitt. It is also home to one of San Francisco’s most haunted houses. Its distinctive 8 hairpin turns within a 200 metre block have it labelled as the crookedest street in the world. It really is a sight to behold and is situated perfectly on the cable car route. However, it might not be the crookedest street in the world, perhaps not even...

Pre-Conceptions Bali had often been on my radar but was somewhere I had always thought of as either too expensive or just not my type of place. Having lived in Australia for a while, Bali had gained a reputation for me as many Australians’ holiday playground and I thought of it as having no soul or character. In 2017, I decided that I could no longer hold back the urge to go and find out the truth for myself. What I discovered on my trip completely changed my opinions of Bali. Getting There From the UK, I decided to fly via Hong Kong...
