We stayed at the Seaside Lifestyle Resort and in Agia Pelagia, Crete, for 2 weeks in May of this year. It's a 5 star, adults only, all inclusive Resort.
Architecturally, it's beautifully designed, and rendered in muted colours that blend aesthetically into the coastal hillside. This colour pallette continues into the interior decor, adding to the overall calm, relaxed atmosphere.
We opted to upgrade to a room with a sea view and shared pool (between 7 rooms) and this worked really well. The view was fabulous, the pool was lovely, well maintained (every morning) and extremely clean, as was the large decking area it was on.
Our room was a decent size with a comfortable 6 foot bed. Towels were supplied and changed daily; also a generous range of toiletries. Bathrobes were also supplied. In addition, a complimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch.
There wasn't a mini bar, but we had a small fridge, which was topped up daily with 2 large bottles of water. Overall our room was spotlessly clean and this high standard was maintained throughout our stay, by the lovely housekeeping staff. We ate our meals in the spacious and well designed buffet style Veranda restaurant.
My partner is vegetarian and I have to avoid gluten, but all dishes were clearly labelled and for breakfast there was a designated 'free from' section. The food itself was superb; an excellent variety of hot and cold dishes, beautifully cooked and presented. The waiting on staff were just lovely; pleasant, friendly and very efficient. In addition to the Veranda restaurant, which is the main eating area, there are also 3 Al la carte restaurants, which guests need to book in advance.
The majority of drinks are included in the package, however, there are some brands that are chargeable eg Moet champagne.
Rarely we revisit, but we would love to stay here again at some point in the not too distant future.
