Kate Milton created a dream itinerary my myself and partner’s first trip to Mexico. Assisting in every detail of planning, travel support and additional activities during our stay, Kate went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted from the trip. Available at all times and on hand for any questions from visas to itinerary planning, Kate was a brilliant sound board for all our queries. Our hotel was outstanding with incredible service, stunning beaches and a huge variety of food and drink options available 24/7. For a truly stress free, premium service, I would highly recommend Kate for all travel requirements.

We have just returned from a very special trip that Kate Milton advised and organised. Bearing in mind this holiday was in Africa I cannot tell you how smoothly all travel arrangements went (total of 9 flights). Our accommodation ranged from Safari camp to boutique hotels, yet all were fabulous and suited out taste perfectly (pretty amazing when for first time customers). Kate spent a huge amount of time discussing our requirements and following up all my (sometimes ridiculous) requests. We loved the excursions/restaurants she recommended especially Livingstone Island and the Zambezi Sunset Cruise. This was the trip of a lifetime and we would strongly recommend Kate to any of our friends and family. Thank you for taking care of us.

This will be our second holiday that Kate has organised for us. It is such a joy to work with her as she takes the time to understand our expectations, has the knowledge and experience of the industry and very much cares that she achieves the very best experiences possible for us. Kate really does provide an exceptional service, nothing is a problem. Thank you again Kate, we very much appreciate your making our holidays extra special. We would most definitely recommend Kate. She makes a holiday into a very special experience with memories to treasure.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Kate Milton for what was the easiest and most personal booking service I have ever experienced. Her recommendations were exactly what we were looking for and her speed/efficiency throughout the process was fantastic. Once everything was booked, Kate recommended the Travel Counsellors app - a great tool to view all details of the trip and receive live updates. We are thoroughly looking forward to our trip. Thanks again.

Kate has helped me to organise a tour down the West coast of America for my summer adventure next year. She has organised all my flights and booked me onto the tour. Kate is a wonderful person to work with and thinks of all the little details which I would have been unaware of if it wasn't for her. She has made my experience so far very easy and stress-free. I am a frequent traveller but haven't booked many solo trips and she has definitely made the whole process very easy! Would highly recommend to inexperienced travellers trying to find their feet, or experienced travellers who want a bespoke and stress free adventure.

Kate helped me plan the most fairytale perfect wedding in Santorini. I could not have asked for a better wedding, everything went perfectly and nothing was too stressful or difficult. Kate was always there to help me with any questions or anything I needed and she really cared about making my day really personal for my husband and I. I can't thank you enough Kate.

Kate was extremely professional and catered to all of our needs regardless how small or large. She was helpful with ideas that would suit us as a couple as she had taken the time to get to know us which made the whole experience enjoyable and clearly far more personal and bespoke. We have already passed on Kate's details and told everyone that has been interested in our trip so hopefully if anyone is planning a special trip that they'll get in touch. We will certainly use Kate again and she is already aware of some our bigger trips that we'd like to do. We just have to start saving again !!!! Thank you Kate :) xx

Having booked with tour operators in the past it has always felt very generic. What I really liked about Kate is that she took the time listened to what personally makes a great holiday and proceeded to book a holiday that was exactly to my requirements.

Really good service and Kate is very good at finding the best deal, she isn't going to find you the cheapest deal but she will find you the best value deal for your personal requirements and knowing she takes care of everything so we don't have to worry is worth every penny spent. She gives you a personal travel service tailored exactly to your needs and is very caring in the way she gets to know you. She clearly put her clients needs first and has a wonderfully genuine attitude. I feel we are in very safe hands booking with Kate and she is taking care of everything down to the little details that are important to my wife and I such as booking tickets to the Bolshoi theatre. Fantastic service.

We had such a great time whilst in Bali, everything worked out just as Kate said it would do and we were really grateful for her insights and recommendations. Both of the Alila hotels were idyllic, each of which having its' own advantages. With Kate's advice as to what to do and where to avoid (due to her taking into consideration our personal preferences and tastes so we got the experience of Bali that we wanted) we really had a perfect trip with plenty of both relaxing time and activities. We also took a trip out to Gilly-T for a night which was well worth the boat trip. Once again thanks so much for having taken the time to get the details spot on for us, it really made it feel personal and special. We will use Kate again for our travels as she really goes the extra mile to help us make those special memories. She really cares.

We used Kate to organise a week long ski trip to Val D’Isere last year, as a reward to clients we have worked with over the last business year. We were quite particular about what we needed and made a proactive point of reiterating our desire to make sure we did things properly. Kate was superb from the start; we were a little late to the party with booking and with limited options available, Kate managed to find us an option that met all our expectations and more. Flights and transfers were seamless, and were made more enjoyable with the little touches added to the journey (champagne thrown in the mix for the long drive etc). The chalet did not disappoint, and for most of those who attended became the pinnacle of accommodation they had stayed in on any resort. Beyond the incredible food, facilities and attentive chalet staff, again the little things that were thrown in made such a huge impact – arriving at Apres Ski to be greeted by chalet staff collecting our boots and replacing them with our shoes was the icing on the cake! It is worth noting that Kate offered a full service, inclusive of taking care of our nights out, dinner reservations, and even sorting a birthday cake for one of our guests. In the event of needing to change flights, they were done so after a very short phone call, and with a minimum of hassle. Our clients have been clambering over us to attend this years' event, which has subsequently had an exponential impact on our business since last years trip. We’ve already engaged Kate to organise this for us, and will no doubt continue to do so for years to come.

My wife and I were planning to get married abroad in Italy, and were looking to honeymoon elsewhere. To take a bit of stress away from planning a honeymoon I approached Kate to assist. "Somewhere where there is sun and a beach" I mentioned to Kate. Due to Kate's proactive approach she asked for details of the types of things we would like to do, drink and eat among other things whilst away. Kate presented a fabulous trip to Mauritius to us and we were sold straight away due to the local knowledge Kate had as she is very well traveled and it was clear she really cared about us and our holiday. Kate gave us peace of mind, removed the stress and provided us with an amazing honeymoon which we will never forget. Thank you so much Kate.

Discussing a trip of a lifetime to Orlando was confusing my husband and I with all the options. Then I met Kate at an Scottish PA Network event, she advised us and booked it all for us after a discussion of our wants, and budget. Having expert knowledge she was able to get us a better package than we had dreamed of, even including her wee fee! When Hurricane Matthew disrupted our plans Kate really came into her own, she took care of everything, keeping me informed of progress and booking alternative accommodation when we were delayed in Manchester. If we'd have booked the trip ourselves I think the hurricane disruption would have been incredibly stress to deal with, but instead I just sat back and waited for Kate to tell me what to do, stress free. Kate is caring and dedicated, she sent wonderful gifts for us to give our son for the big reveal about the trip and even arranged a personalised birthday cake for him as we were in Disney for his 7th. She put up with all my questions and issues before we went and if she didn't immediately know an answer she found out and got back to me quickly. Incredibly invaluable service I couldn't recommend highly enough.

Kate is an extremely likeable person who takes what she does seriously and I feel that I am not just 'another punter'. She delivers a first class experience and service to her clients and more importantly, both my partner and I really feel that she listens to what we want. When we thought about cancelling a part of our trip, Kate asked us to give her an opportunity to research some more and to find something that would suit our personalities and our budget better. Quite frankly, she nailed it! It is a pleasure working with Kate and she is helping me no end with our wedding plans, so am not as nearly as stressed as I thought I might be. She makes it seem so effortless. Thanks Kate, your a star!

It really was so kind of you to welcome us back home both with your card and also your splendid hamper which arrived this afternoon. All totally unnecessary but very generous on your part and much appreciated on ours. Yes, we had a lovely holiday and all the arrangements you put in place worked smoothly. It's always reassuring after a long journey to quickly spot a friendly face with a sign bearing your name as you come out of the airport. This incidentally was Thomas who was our guide and driver for the next week. He looked after us very well indeed - initially a bit of a Lewis Hamilton at the wheel but that was soon sorted out.We liked him very much. Undoubtedly from a cultural point of view the highlights were our two visits to the major Mayan sites - hugely impressive and blissfully quiet - and our stay in Antigua, a charming old town with fine, traditional buildings. I was glad you suggested we pop in a full set of waterproofs. While the weather wasn't at all bad there were occasions when these were needed. The hotels which were selected all had tremendous character and were generally fine. Mr. Coppola's all enjoyed dramatic locations to be seen to be believed. Thank you so much for organising everything for us. I feel we did not give you a very clear brief but despite that you succeeded very well.

What a fantastic service Kate. From start to finish you were just superb taking care of every little detail and also taking the time to spend with me face to face; such a caring attitude. You really came into your own and showed us how special your service is however when we realized that a problem had occurred through no fault of yours or ours. I couldn't believe how quickly you were aware of the situation on the Danube when the water levels became an issue. We didn't have to worry however as 'Super Kate' took over.' Kate, you quickly rearranged accommodation for the last couple of nights including getting our Boarding and hotel bookings e-mailed to the ship. We were 100% satisfied with Kate's speedy intervention and solution to our problem. With the icing on the cake being her great negotiation skills in obtaining a realistic compensation from the river cruise supplier. Kate proved again that she was willing to go above and beyond to make sure our holiday was simply memorable with you any hassle. I will definitely be recommending Travel Counsellors and especially Kate to all my friends and family in the future.

Kate, just wanted to say thank you so much for organising our honeymoon to the ME hotel in S'Argamassa in Ibiza - it was absolutely fantastic! It was the perfect end to a beautiful wedding. The ME hotel was a spectacular hotel and all of the staff were extremely helpful - nothing was any trouble. Your help in finding such a gem was invaluable. The service you give is second to none! We had a great time at the ME – we even got an upgrade of room when we arrived all thanks to you – the Reception staff were so nice especially when they found out we were on honeymoon. Colin and I would like to thank you for arranging an amazing family summer holiday for us. The two week, all-inclusive holiday to Gouves, Crete was absolutely brilliant. The hotel was beautiful and we were right next to the beach, close to local transport and plenty to see and do. I especially appreciated the fact that you printed out all our documentation. The full itinerary breakdown you provided was most helpful, not to mention your very kind offer to collect my Euro’s. The icing on the cake was most definitely the day pass that you included as a surprise gift for the family to attend a local waterpark, it was very much appreciated, especially by the children – we all had a ball! Thank you again Kate and please be assured that we would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending you to our family, friends, colleagues and business acquaintances.

I will have no hesitation recommending Kate to anyone else and would rate her complete service very highly. The ship was world class and it was lovely to receive a number of surprise gifts along the way such as champagne on arrival. However, the most thoughtful part was the gift of lounge access at Edinburgh Airport with fast track security. Kate knew it would be a busy time as its holiday season and also Fringe Festival so as I cant walk very far Kate went the extra mile and made sure we were looked after. She made us feel very special indeed! I'm so impressed with Kate we are booked on a cruise down the Nile with her next year which we are really excited about.

I have just returned from three incredible weeks in the Alaskan Interior to celebrate my husband’s 30th. 1. OISTINS FRIDAY NIGHT FISH FRY: During our stay in Barbados May 2017, we were lucky enough to be taken to Oistins for the evening. As a novice skier or boarder booking your first ski trip can be a daunting task so what are the main things you need to think about when planning your first family ski trip?
