Saariselka Log Cabin Lapland (client's blog)

Thank you for the kids pressies, you really didn't have to. All I can say is wow! It is picture postcard beautiful. We have had an amazing first day. Christmas songs on the plane, special elf meet and greet. The accommodation is perfect, very spacious. We have a sauna, a log burner and a drying cupboard to dry all of our clothes in too. The welcome pack is enough to last for a week and very yummy. There are sledges everywhere you can just borrow and play on which the kids are loving.

I can’t begin to tell you because if I did I wouldn't stop. Everything was perfect from the journey, food, cabin, activities, just everything. The reps were brilliant, so helpful and friendly, even though our cabin was a little far out from the village they were only a text or call away. I wouldn't underestimate the cold! it is biting at times. Lots of layers and extra gloves in case yours get wet (the kids more so)!

The suits you are given are brilliant, as are the gloves and boots, very comfy but you need layers inside.

The restaurants in the village are great for families, we ate so well, and the kids were happy too as they serve burgers everywhere too.

Thank you for the hand warmers they came in very handy for the night time snowmobiling.
