Sandals Royal Barbados

We booked this trip to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and upgraded to a Butler Crystal Lagoon swim up suite. I was blown away with the presentation of the resort. The hotel was fairly new and there was nothing the staff wouldn't do. Our butler was on hand all the time and the staff were very friendly.

The restaurants were amazing and there was too much food to choose from! We were never hungry. There were 17 restaurants to choose from, six in the resort and 11 in Sandals Barbados (which you can use too). Our favourite was the Bombay club and we ate here twice.

The layout of the hotel was much better than the hotel next door (Sandals Barbados) and more spacious. Our room was located in the lagoon area, very tranquil and a much quieter part of the hotel. Our butler would book all our restaurants for us and allocate us our sunbeds. We were given a mobile phone to contact our butler if we needed him, but he was never far enough for us to call him.

I was very sad when the holiday came to an end. I can't wait to return. One thing to warn your customers about is the problem they are having with the seaweed. They are clearing the sea every two to three days as it keeps coming back. This is totally out of their control. It's such a shame as the beach is gorgeous. This still wouldn't put me off returning again.
