FAQ

What is the latest UK Government advice for travel?

Entry into England

On 15th December, all countries were removed from the UK Government red list for travel. The rules depend on the vaccination status of the passenger. Under 18s should follow the same rules as vaccinated passengers. There are also different rules if you have travelling abroad from Scotland, Wales or Northern Ireland. Proof of a negative COVID-19 test is required to travel to England from abroad. People aged 12 or over must take a COVID-19 test before they travel to England from abroad.

From 30th November, day 2 return to the UK tests must be PCR tests, with lateral flow tests no longer being accepted as previous.

The Government has issued a ‘Travel Abroad Checklist’ and step-by-step guide covering foreign travel advice; passports, visas and permits; travel insurance; testing advice, NGS COVID Pass information and checks for what you need to do on return to England.
