What an experience, and a great one at that! A city full of luxurious hotels and neon lights in the middle of the Nevada desert. Every hotel has its own personality but they all have one thing in common - impressive! Take a walk down the strip for sightseeing from the fountains of the Bellagio and the gondolas of the Venetian, to the roller coaster ride at the New York New York hotel - there is something for everyone! Shopping is also a must with the premium outlet stores offering designer clothes at discount prices. We took a plane ride to the Grand Canyon and experienced breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon and the Hoover Dam, we also dared the skywalk, 4000 feet above the Canyon floor, just a fantastic experience. Apart from the slot machines to keep you more than busy, we went to see Michael Jackson Cirque du Soleil which was just amazing! I have never been anywhere like Vegas before and I certainly hope I can get back to the city that never sleeps very soon.

I travelled to Goa on business and to be honest, before my visit, I was not sure about it. How wrong could I be! It’s the most perfect winter sun destination with endless sunshine, an array of delicious local and international cuisine and a beach paradise! Goa is split into two, north and south. It's hard to ignore the striking difference between the regions. The north is a culture rich hub and, in towns like Candolim and Baga, markets and traditional eateries battle for your rupees. Head south to places like Arrosim and Cavelossim, and it's a far sleepier scene of luxury hotels, white sands and turquoise waters. There is a wide range of accommodation available from 2* bed and breakfast boutique hotels to the more luxurious 5* half board and all inclusive hotels, so something to suit all tastes. Average temperatures are into the 90's and you get eight hours of sunshine per day...you can't ask for much more than that! There are plenty of restaurants and shops, not forgetting the local market at Anjuna where you can pick up plenty of handcrafted ornaments at amazing prices to take home and treasure. So, whether you are young or young at heart Goa certainly has something for everyone! Why not combine a tour of India visiting Delhi, Agra and Jaipur to name but a few, then onwards for a totally relaxing week to unwind in Goa!

Quite possibly the most stunning scenery I have ever experienced in the UK! The biggest beaches I have ever seen, and an array of pretty seaside harbour towns and rugged coastline. Cornwall is a beautiful place to visit in any season. When you visit Cornwall you will find cliff top walks, beaches to explore, waves to surf, attractions and an abundance of fresh air....not forgetting plenty of village pubs! It really is the perfect place for the whole family to relax and unwind. I stayed in a luxury cabin with all modern appliances including; three bedrooms with one en-suite, LCD TV with sky channels, dishwasher and washing machine. There was even room for my beloved dog Oscar! My main highlight was a visit to the local beach. If the views weren't enough to take your breath away then the sheer size of the beach with its regular visits from the locals showing off their surfing skills and their dogs too! Cornwall is so vast and we only visited the south coast but I am sure soon enough we will go back to visit another part of this truly breath-taking county, not forgetting Oscar too!

When you go on a cruise you are not just booking a holiday, you are booking the opportunity to discover an abundance of activities and destinations including your accommodation, meals and entertainment all included within your package! I stepped on board at Southampton and my holiday started! Greeted with a glass of champagne, I made my way to a buffet lunch. I was in buffet heaven! My big decision of the day so far was what I was going to have to eat, there was so much to choose from! After my lunch, my cabin was ready and my case was already there. I was introduced to my cabin steward who would attend to my every need. During this time we headed up on deck to set sail from Southampton. I felt like royalty! Everyone on shore had gathered round to wave us off! Later that evening it was time for our evening meal in the main restaurant. Did I have any room for my 5 course meal after my big buffet lunch earlier? After seeing the menu I knew I had room! If that wasn't enough excitement for one day, we made our way after dinner to the theatre where we saw a performance by the singers and dancers on board which was comparable to a west end show. If you wanted anymore to eat, you could head along to the midnight buffet and onwards to the disco to dance off those pounds! Once back in my cabin, my bed had been turned down and a little chocolate left on my pillow. Could it get any better than this? Yes, of course it could, I had seven days of it! The cruise consisted of five destinations in seven days, waking up in a different place every morning, now what other holiday can offer you that!? If you've never cruised before but like the thought of giving it a go then try a two night taster cruise. I guarantee you will want to cruise again!
