After 22 years in the travel industry in 2010 a colleague Kevin and myself founded our own Tour Operator business called Escapa specialising in tailor made travel.
We created Escapa from a passion for travel whether for relaxing and recharging, discovering new landscapes and cultures, or simply being inspired by throwing yourself into new experiences.
After a successful 10 successful years with many happy and satisfied clients.
During the early part of the Pandemic we searched carefully for an organisation that shared our values of service excellence & creating dream holiday experiences. Travel Counsellors were by far the most professional and aligned with our vision of the future and we mutually agreed a partnership to move forward.

I have been very fortunate to travel extensively, and highlights include a canoeing adventure along the lower River Zambezi in Zambia, marvelling at the deserts of Namibia, the wildlife of the Masai Mara in Kenya and Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, Africa.
Across to the Americas where the skies are big and the cities dazzle. Trekking around the spectacular Torres Del Paine National Park in Southern Chile, discovering the lost Inca city of Machu Picchu in Peru with my old Geordie mate, Kevin. With friends a fly drive around California including a side trip to the Grand Canyon, sleepless in New York.
I adventured back in time to the Sacred Buddhist Monastery at the Eagle’s Nest site in the ancient Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan’,
Tea for two whilst travelling with my wife around colourful Rajasthan , Ancient Egypt and Jordan, relaxing in the Seychelles and our unforgettable Honeymoon in South Africa and Mauritius - walks on Le Morne Peninsula Cinematic Sunsets included!
As a family man these past 9 years making special memories with my wife and two primary school aged boys full of energy on family holidays on the island of Menorca and Poland, from Krakow and the Tatra and Carpathian Mountains of the South, North to the Polish Baltic Coast.
