Welcome. My aim is to make sure you have the most memorable holidays which are stress free, good value, financially safe, tailored to you but - most importantly - with the highest level of friendly and reliable personal service.
I live in Woodthorpe, Nottingham with my husband Rui. We settled here 19 years ago after we met and married when we were living in Hong Kong. Rui is Portuguese so we have travelled and toured there extensively and I can honestly say I know more about Portugal than I do about the UK, although my Portuguese is not quite as good as my English!
I have travelled extensively over the years, visiting approximately 30 countries from as far afield as Tibet, Mozambique, Indonesia, Brazil, China, Canada, USA, Thailand, Morocco and numerous European countries. I am able to bring my personal destination knowledge to help you think about your travels as well as the expert knowledge of my 1600 colleagues.
In addition to a passion for travel, my other passion is great service. I have 40 years of experience working with people. Reliability, professionalism, friendliness and honesty are the characteristics which I admire and always bring to every customer.
Your needs are unique and it is refreshing to have a truly personal service, tailored around you. I will create the perfect itinerary and put as much effort into it as though it were my own holiday. I am a stickler for detail with exacting standards and always go the extra mile!
Being an independent Travel Counsellor means I can give truly impartial advice as I am not tied to any particular supplier like some travel agents. I can offer anything that you can buy online or from a travel shop, saving you time and hassle. My services are for those who value a truly bespoke, personal service from someone who puts customer service above profit. I supply all travel needs including (but not limited to):
• cottages to castles
• cruises to campervans
• flight, road, coach and rail journeys
• safari to scuba diving
• theme parks to theatre tickets
• beach resorts to jungle trekking
• weddings, honeymoons, hen and stag parties
• transfers, parking, guided tours and home pickups
I work flexibly and can be available to you outside normal office hours, so please call or email with any query and I will respond promptly.
Whatever your holiday needs I'm here to help you, so please either fill in and send the form below or simply give me a call and I can get things started for you:-

Michelle has been absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She has taken all of the time and effort out of planning our holiday. It has been a pleasure doing business with her and I will definitely be engaging her again for future trips and am recommending her to everyone!

Thank you for making our trip so easy and so much fun. It would have been very complicated to organise everything ourselves to turn the conference into a holiday by adding 2 extra hotels, transfers, flights and travel insurance. Thanks to all your good planning we had a lovely, problem-free time and the boat trip you threw in as a bonus was great fun. Needless to say we will be contacting you for our future trips.

Michelle produced a great package for our working holiday in Prague, Flights, suitable hotels, transfers and even a list of interesting activities to do whilst there were all included. I would recommend Michelle 100%, great personal service and couldn't ask for more.

I love to spend time explaining the ‘ins and outs’ of how diverse the cruise industry is and have helped customers take the plunge (metaphorically!) after they have trusted me to guide them. I asked my friends, customers and local community for their thoughts on taking a cruise holiday and was delighted that I had hundreds of replies. Interestingly over 90% were negative towards this type of holiday. I have compiled the following which covers all the responses, this is part three. DESTINATIONS: It is always your choice whether to join an organised excursion in a port so if you are...

Back in 1632 a promise was made to God by the residents of the small German Alpine village of Oberammergau which has been kept to this day. Legend has it that the villagers pleaded to be spared the ravaging Bubonic Plague and promised to perform a play recounting the suffering, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, in return for mercy. The village emerged relatively lightly affected and, taking this as a sign of God’s response to their prayers, the play has been performed faithfully, once every decade ever since. The 42nd production is due to take place from May 19th, 2020...

You’ve followed my Facebook page, receive my weekly inspiration emails but, unless you have already made a booking with me, you may be wondering exactly what it is that I do. Some people think they do not need or want a Personal Travel Consultant because they assume that it must be expensive. There is no charge for my service and there is no obligation to go ahead and book even when I have sent you a quote. Yes, that’s right: it is a free service! Of course, many people do go ahead with a booking once they have experienced my service...

I lived in Hong Kong for almost five years. Even though I had travelled extensively it is only when you live in another culture for a prolonged period that you really get under the surface and begin to understand it. Tasting the delicacy of duck tongue (the most disgusting food I have ever put in my mouth) and watching my Chinese colleagues enjoying it so much really showed the cultural differences in food likes and dislikes. Not only do cultures and countries differ in what they eat, they also differ in how they eat it, when they eat it and...

One of the most economical cities in Europe to visit is Krakow. We went in winter which gave it an amazingly romantic feel. Spring is a good time to visit before the throngs of visitors in July and August. The glorious medieval Rynek Glowny (Main Square) was a highlight with its underground museum and covered market; the oldest in Europe. The Nazis made it their home during World War 2 and whilst the rest of the country was bombed the medieval square was preserved. We took public transport to Auschwitz which made for an uncomfortable but valuable visit, holiday memories of...
