Encompassing the Taj Mahal, temples, tigers and much more besides, this comprehensive fourteen-day tour of India promises to deliver a truly unforgettable holiday experience. Your adventure starts in the capital city of Delhi, where you’ll be able to explore Old Delhi’s historic streets by rickshaw and discover New Delhi’s many iconic landmarks. Next, you’ll take the flight to Udaipur, your gateway to the delights of Rajasthan.

Staying in a beautifully restored palace perched on a hilltop overlooking the lake, this is the perfect place to recharge and rebalance. Relax with a morning yoga class led by a local expert or take a morning walking tour of Udaipur and see the city just as it’s waking up. You’ll also enjoy an evening cruise across Lake Pichola, where you’ll experience some magnificent views of the Jag Mandir Palace. Bidding farewell to Udaipur, take the scenic drive through the countryside to the ‘Pink City’ of Jaipur. Discover the City Palace, ascend by vintage jeep to the top of the majestic Amber Fort, delve deeper into Indian culture during a henna tattoRajo and bindi demonstration, and get a taste of daily life with a home-hosted dinner. Next, it’s on to the Ranthambore National Park, where you’ll experience two exhilarating game drives and dive into the local cuisine with an interactive cooking demonstration and dinner. Travelling east to Agra, it’s time for a truly unforgettable travel experience as you visit the Taj Mahal at sunrise; witnessing the first rays of sun glistening on the white marble. During your stay in this splendid city, you’ll also visit the Agra Fort, the seat of the Mughal Empire. After an overnight stay in Khajuraho, it’s on to your final destination of Varansi - India’s holiest city. Stand in awe as you witness the illuminated Ganga Aarti ceremony, take an early morning ride on the holy River Ganges, visit the site of Buddha’s first sermon and join your fellow travellers for a farewell dinner.
