It's Nice To Meet You
Hi, I’m Phil and I am a Gold Travel Counsellor based in Christchurch where I live with my partner and our two beautiful girls. I joined Travel Counsellors in August 2018 and was proud to win the 'Best UK Leisure Newcomer' award in 2019 before reaching the Gold accolade for the first time in April 2022.
Prior to joining Travel Counsellors, I had over 13 years of experience as a Sales Consultant and a Product Executive for an award winning travel company working out of both the London and Bournemouth offices. I have experience of putting together a multitude of different itineraries all over the world ranging from self drive holidays, private touring holidays, beach holidays and organised private or group safaris. To name just a few!
My own travels have taken me to all four corners of the globe and that really helps me to offer educated, impartial advice and tailor the itinerary to suit the individual needs of my clients. A beach is not just a beach and the style of a hotel/resort can have a huge impact on your enjoyment of your holiday. I am also a sports fanatic so have a canny way of piecing a holiday around a sporting event, such as an Ashes series down under.
For the last 8 years, I have also specialised in cruise which is the largest growing sector within the travel industry. With a variety of cruise lines targeting an ever wider range of guest on board, cruising really does have something for everyone now but again it is so important to take expert advice to find the cruise line for you as needless to say, with ships ranging from 150-6000 guests on board, the whole experience can be very different.
