A Taste of Brisbane

The last stop on our fabulous Queensland trip was back to Brisbane for two nights.

We stayed in the amazing FV by Peppers. This brand new hotel offers the most amazing one or two bedroom apartments with floor to ceiling windows showcasing breath-taking views of the city.

The food on our trip has been amazing - and I feel a blog just on food will be coming soon! I have to mention the amazing Thai restaurant we visited on arrival. Longtime is a must for anyone looking for amazing Thai food with great staff and a truly awesome setting!

Historically Brisbane has been seen as a place you fly into and stopover before moving on to where you are going but I can firmly say that Brisbane is a city well worth staying and exploring.

We had a fun-packed two days that included a night-time trip to Kangaroo Point with amazing views of the city, a trip to the Gallery of Modern Art, a fabulous microbreweries tour, a trip to the man-made beaches, shopping and sight-seeing and there was still lots more we could have done!

I would highly recommend taking one of the free walking tours organised by Brisbane Greeters who are volunteers that show you around this great city and are more than happy to share their in-depth knowledge.

If you want to know more about this wonderful city, any of the other places I visited on this trip or to have a chat about a trip to Australia then please get in touch!
