Jamaican Journey

On this, my second trip to Jamaica, we stayed at the Iberostar Rosehall Grand Hotel in Montego Bay. We were looking for a relaxing break to unwind and chill and this fitted the bill perfectly. Just 20 minutes from the airport and situated right on the beach, this hotel really was like paradise! Our room was stunning and was spacious, luxurious and very quiet. We even had a butler to attend to our needs! Our room came equipped with a fully stocked mini-bar, DVD player and docking station and a Jacuzzi-style bath.

The Grand is an adult only hotel and one of three Iberostar hotels in the Montego Bay area. Staying at this one gave us access to any of the varied restaurants in all of the Iberostar hotels. We could choose from gourmet, Mexican, Italian, Japanese and many more.

The beach was lovely and a gentle walk from one end to the other took about 20 minutes. The Caribbean Sea is clear and warm with waves gently lapping the white sandy beach. Perfect! We had a choice of sunbeds or cabanas on the beach or by the pool with waiter service for food and drinks all day. We even tried a massage by the pool which was blissful – the height of relaxation! For those who enjoy it, you can also enjoy yoga classes overlooking the sea each morning.

As we were only here for a week, we never actually made it off the complex as there was so much to do. It looks like we might need another trip back for a spot of sight-seeing! If you are looking for a top 5 star all-inclusive hotel to completely unwind, then this would be perfect!
