Perfect shorthaul weekend break

We hopped on the Jet2 flight from Manchester on a Friday morning - and we were by the pool before lunch time!

We chose to stay at the fabulous Tivoli Marina. There are lots of great things about this 5-star hotel and here are just a few of the best bits:

- The location - in the perfect spot right on the marina. - The spa - is newly renovated and fabulous! It's Thai-themed setting is the perfect place for a spot of pampering - The Puro Beach Club is perfect to chill and watch the world go by with great music, cool drinks and fabulous food - check out the nachos! - The views! All rooms have a fabulous view of either the marina or the ocean. My top tip is to upgrade to the panoramic view rooms which are on the top floors! - The staff - the service here is impeccable as well as friendly

The hotel has close links with the Anantara hotel, which has its own golf course as well as an amazing spa! There's even a little hotel Tuk-Tuk to take you over there!

With the later Jet2 flight back to Manchester on Monday, we had 4 full days of sunshine and chilling - and was still back in time to be ready for work on Tuesday morning.
