FAM trips are arranged to allow agents to spend some time in resorts exploring the hotel and surrounding areas, allowing us to offer the best possible advice.
We flew to Nassau with British Airways in World Traveller Plus from Heathrow and arrived in Nassau in 9 hours.
As Sandals offer complimentary transfers to all its resorts so it wasn’t long before we were sat in the Club Reception with a cocktail being checked in.
The resort is spit into the areas - Balmoral Tower, Windsor Tower and the Royal Village and I had a gorgeous club level suite with a sea view in the Windsor Tower.
Sandals is aimed at couples in love and all Sandals holidays are 'Ultra all-inclusive' which means that not only is all food and drink included, but can also include all water sports, diving and golf!
Every Sandals resort destination sits directly on a stunning beach, on six of the most gorgeous islands in the Caribbean - Jamaica, Bahamas, Antigua, Grenada, St Lucia and Barbados.
Sandals Royal Bahamian is a gorgeous resort. The beach is white and powdery with crystal clear sea and it also has its own private island which is divine. The hotel was a favoured spot of Edward and Mrs Simpson and the walls are adorned with great photos and memorabilia.
The food is some of the best I have ever had and I particularly loved our meal at Gordon's on the Pier with Charles, the hotel Manager.
The resort has lots of lovely little spots for couples to go and chill out - especially over on the island that is reached in just a few minutes by the Sandals boat.
You can do as much or as little as you like here. The Red Lane Spa offers a full range of treatments and there is a fully stocked gym with fitness advisers on hand to help and there's a water sports centre to help with anything you fancy doing.
You are spoilt for choice for options of where to eat and drink and the service was impeccable.
