Venice

There is no place on the planet like Venice! Wow what a wonderful compact city made of several islands! We visited here in October and the weather was glorious. And it's only and hour and half from London.

Everything you think of about Venice: Gondola rides, gelato, pizza and pasta, Bellini's and beautiful buildings, this city really did tick all the boxes for a short break. However many people choose to twin this city with maybe a stay in Lido di Jesselo or Verona or the Italian Lakes.
