Hard Rock Tenerife

The nights were drawing in and days getting colder, I felt the need for a few days of lying on a sun lounger and enjoying the sunshine.

Tenerife was the place and the Hard Rock Tenerife looked amazing but I had my preconceptions would it be too cheesy and over the top like the Hard Rock Café!

Within seconds of walking through the doors I knew I had made the right decision and could not have been more wrong, the hotel is stunning light, airy and helpful staff from the moment you step out of your transfer. It would not be Hard Rock without the Music and memorabilia but it is not in your face and the music is a mix to suit all tastes.

The rooms are located in two towers which are joined together by the lobby and buffet restaurant. I had the lead in Silver room which was amazing beautiful décor and comfy beds, English TV channel so you won’t miss your favourite programme and not forgetting the music you have access to free downloads for your favourite tunes or you can Bluetooth the music from your phone to the speakers, but don’t worry if this all sounds a bit too technical, like it did me the Hard Rock team will come and show you!

There are three swimming pools, a Family pool with a splash area for the little ones, an Adult pool with swim up bar and Beach Club pool which is set around a manmade beach, with a DJ playing a mix of tunes from around 11am, whether you are a couple or a family there is a pool to suit you, my favourite was the Beach Pool then about 3pm we would head the adult pool for cocktails at the swim up bar.

The food is fabulous really good quality and tasty, I am personally not a lover of buffet restaurants as they are usually a bit repetitive but not at Hard Rock there is a great array of food and choice both at breakfast with fruit, cooked, waffles, pastries, omelette station, pancake station and chocolate fountain! I can thoroughly recommend the waffles with fruit and melted white chocolate! It is the same again at dinner a huge choice, lovely salads, meats, fish, potatoes and a meat station and fish station where your food it freshly cooked for you. There are also 4 A La Carte restaurants, if you are on Half Board like me there is either a set menu to choose from or you receive a credit towards the normal menu, giving you the option to dine around and eat in different places, the Mohawk Steak restaurant is a must!

Entertainment is all around you with Kids clubs 6 months to 16 years you can get time alone, there is music everywhere but it is not loud it is just there, from musicians in the lobby or serenading you at breakfast or dinner and singers with the best voices there is something for everyone,

Hard Rock Tenerife is one of the best hotels I have stayed in and would recommend to both couples and families alike. I think my lasting memories will be the smell everywhere had the most amazing aroma like a spa, the music, from the Electric Guitar at breakfast to the amazing voices of the singers and the mix of tunes from the DJ at the pool and finally the sunset at the 16th Bar on the 16th floor.

Hard Rock Tenerife I will be back.
