Harwich to Hull Marco Polo

Cruise and Maritime include Hull in their yearly itineraries usually around the UK, Iceland, Norwegian Fjords and Baltic capitals including St Petersburg to name a few.

Having one sailing leaving Harwich then calling at Hull before a UK 12-night trip, they had numerous cabins to fill for the one night and pushed out a promotion to sail for the night from £39. I got a group of friends together to go on the trip which was a great way to experience the lovely Marco Polo.

We coached down from Hull early morning and we were on board shortly after 12 to enjoy lunch. Blessed with great weather we spent the afternoon out on the sun deck, entertained by the on board team and waiters mixing up cocktails in their own unique style.

The trip included a beautiful five course dinner in their restaurants over two sittings. Then you could either watch a show or karaoke in the lounge.

What a great way to sample a ship and I'd have no hesitation at recommending this ship to anyone who isn't after a large liner but wants a smaller more intimate experience for good price. My only recommendation would be to consider the drinks packages available as they are a little pricey on board.
