Inghams, Ski Esprit & Santa's Lapland Training

Today I spent a few hours training with our rep from Inghams, Ski Esprit and Santa's Lapland. It was a really informative training session as it was only a small group so we were able to ask lots of questions!

Having already been on a Santa's Lapland trip I already knew lots about the product but it was great to get a refresh and also learn about their Aurora breaks which have more inclusions than the Magic break that I did! They still have availability for this Christmas (this is quite rare but a few circumstances have led to this) so if you'd love to visit Santa this Christmas do get in touch and I'll see what we can find for you. I absolutely loved this trip so more than happy to make recommendations based on our experience last winter.

We touched briefly on the Ski Esprit product too and the main learning point that came out of this was that the children's lessons were really very different to 'bog-standard' lessons so it's absolutely perfect for young children and first-time skiers too.

Inghams is also one of their companies and it's probably the one you may have heard of. They have been in the past very much a Lakes and Mountains product, whether that be summer or ski. Things have moved along the last few years though and as well as all the well-known destinations they can book, they also have a tour program that includes Iceland and Norway. These are great alternatives for those not wanting to cruise to these destinations but also want someone else to do the organising! They also now offer a fab family itinerary (ideal for teens) in France called 'Peaks of Perfection Activity Week' - this tour includes cycle rides, hiking with a local guide and white water rafting.

Inghams also feature Lapland, it's a completely different way to visit compared with Santa's Lapland but this helped cement the difference between the two for me. I'm happy to chat through the options to say which might suit your needs better. Inghams have longer durations available too and feature Lapland through the whole ski season so though to March - so if you aren't worried about seeing Santa this is a great option allowing you more time to enjoy the snow.

They also feature a comprehensive Italy program now too - almost all of the itineraries for these are tailor-made. With Italy being so well connected by rail, it's a great country for twin or multi-centres. The rep from Inghams had just come back from a twin-centre, they stayed in Bologna and then went to the Adriatic Coast and stayed in Rimini. She was very impressed with this side of Italy's coast as it's definitely a lesser known part and one that is likely to be up and coming.

Not forgetting of course, Inghams extensive ski options - they have a really great ski program covering lots of resorts, a good range of accommodation and all the added extras you might need.

Overall, it was a few hours well spent and gave me a really good understanding of the new products they are offering.
