Mauritius - Heritage Awali

This was my first visit to Mauritius and we loved it! The hotel was lovely and I would highly recommend it for a good value, good standard and the all-inclusive option. The deluxe rooms are quite large and I would be happy to stay in this room type again. The food and service was excellent! We went with our two year old and the hotel was very family friendly. We also saw a couple of weddings while we were there, so it is suitable for all kinds of clients. We were lucky with the weather as although there was a lot of rain it pretty much all fell overnight and just one morning and one afternoon of downpours during the daytime.

We did a day trip to the Chamarel Waterfall and the Seven Coloured Earth. This also included a visit to the Sacred Lake and the Crocodile Park, where we really enjoyed feeding the giant tortoises! A day I would highly recommend!
