A little about myself - I joined Travel Counsellors in September 2008 as this as the only way to continue offering unbiased advice and recommendations which my clients really value.
Having worked in travel for over thirty years, I have visited many parts of the world including Australia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, India, Sri Lanka, Egypt, North America and Canada. I used to ski regularly and now love cruising. I've been fortunate enough to have holidayed or taken 'educational' trips aboard Oriana, Arcadia, Azura, Oceana, Independence of the Seas and NCL Epic. A lifelong dream has been to visit Petra in Jordan and in June 2010 my dream came true! I can honestly say it was the best trip I have ever been on in all my years of travelling! I have recently visited Israel too - a remarkable country. And Kalkan in Turkey, a place I loved so much I've already booked to go back this summer.
Christmas 2011 saw us in Lapland - we had wonderful time! Have a look at my journal to see what we got up to.
Currently, I am raising funds for my village school. Every time you make a booking with me, I will be making a donation to help improve school facilities. This is ongoing - as my business grows so will the fund. To date I have been able to present the school with £450! The money has been put to good use and look forward to donating more in the future - thanks for your continued support.
