Seabourn Ovation

I was lucky enough to be invited to spend time onboard Seabourn Ovation during a rare visit to Portsmouth, the visit started in the rain but soon brighten up. Seabourn Cruises have 5 ships, Ovation, Quest, Encore Sojourn and Odyssey and 2 outstanding Expeditions ships, All smaller ships carrying up to 600 passengers. Lovely friendly warm atmosphere onboard, happy smiley staff on hand to help and look after you. Seabourn Ovation has a number of public rooms, all beautifully decorated, light and airy rooms, plenty of spaces to find a quiet spot to have a drink and indulge in some people watching. Not forgetting the shops, spa, gym, library plus the pools and outside deck space. You will also find the Retreat an area forward on deck 12 – a private relaxation area that needs to be booked in advance where you can hire a private cabana to relax in the sun. Dining is catered for in a choice of venues around the ship – The Colonnade – indoor and outdoor area – a buffet area featuring food from around the world for breakfast and lunch. Pool Patio for informal snacks and light bites out on deck. The Grill by Thomas Keller and fabulous place for dinner also Sushi a Japanese theme venue. Not forgetting The Restaurant the largest of the dining places onboard. Seabourn ships will have a choice of suites to suit all tastes – from the largest Grand Wintergarden Suite to a more modest Veranda Suite, something for everyone.
