Day 1: Arrive in India’s largest city, Delhi, and take the private transfer to your hotel where you’ll have the rest of the day to relax in the tranquil surroundings.
Day 2: Embark on a heritage walking tour of Old Delhi before spending the afternoon sightseeing s=around New Delhi where you’ll tick off famous sights such as India Gate, the Parliament building and the Rashtrapati Bhawan (the president’s residence).
Day 3: Board the train to Agra, where you’ll visit the captivating Red Fort of Agra before witnessing the magical sight of the sun setting behind the Taj Mahal.
Day 4: take the train to Ranthambore. En route you’ll be making a stop off at Fatehpur Sikri to see one of the best-preserved collections of Mughal architecture in India, and dine at a local restaurant. This evening you’ll arrive at your accommodation by Ranthambhore National Park where you’ll spend the next day exploring.
Day 5: Game drive around Ranthambhore National Park. As one of the finest wildlife parks in India you can expect to see dense jungle, golden savanna, dramatic cliffs and lotus-filled lakes. Keep your eyes peeled for Bengal tigers, sambar, black buck, crocodile, chital and wild boars.
Day 6: Depart for Jaipur today. As the state capital of Rajasthan, Jaipur is a historic centre of culture and palatial opulence. It’s famous salmon-hued old city has earned Jaipur the moniker of ‘The Pink City’.
Day 7: After breakfast, leave for the ancient capital of Amber to see the fabulous Amber Fort. In the afternoon you’ll return to Jaipur to admire the grand architecture and artwork of the city palace.
Day 8: Today you will return to Delhi to spend another afternoon wandering its hectic streets taking in the kaleidoscope of colours and life that unfolds around you. Tonight you’ll be staying at the city’s trendiest hotel, the Hotel Pullman New Delhi Aerocity.
Day 9: Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
