My name is Alison Allam. I am an independent Travel Agent based in Tacolneston, close to Wymondham, Norfolk. I joined Travel Counsellors in December 2006, prior to that I worked for Galaxy Travel.

I have been in the retail travel industry for over 40 years and have vast knowledge of destinations and resorts. I am very passionate about my work and I have always prided myself on offering the highest level of customer service. I can advise and book all kinds of travel arrangements, everything from a relaxing beach holiday to a city break to worldwide tailor-made itineraries, as well as activity/ski holidays, cruises, UK holidays and short breaks, late deals or just a flight only.

As your personal Travel Counsellor, I use award-winning technology and my expertise to tailor-make exactly the right holiday to suit your needs. As well as offering a vast range of tour operator products, I can also search through hundreds of different flights, accommodation and transfer alternatives to find something that will suit your needs exactly. Quite often this means I can build you a bespoke holiday at a cheaper price than a standard holiday package you might find elsewhere. On top of this, I can also offer a full range of ancillary products such as; competitive travel insurance, car hire, airport hotels, parking and lounges.

If you are looking to travel to Australia or New Zealand then talk to me, I have the experience and expertise and will be very happy to help plan your itinerary and also find the best deals around. Are you perhaps looking to travel to China? Why not let me tailor-make your itinerary with your own personal driver and guide, or if you prefer to travel with a group then I can arrange this too. Whatever your holiday aspirations are, I know I can help you fulfil these.

I realise that not everyone is free to discuss their travel arrangements during the working week, and because I work from home, this means you have the flexibility to contact me by phone or email at times when most other travel agents are unavailable.

Alison has been just great with us. We knew where we wanted to go for our big once in a lifetime holiday but not exactly what we wanted to do. With Alison's guidance and us changing things around we got there and she has put together our perfect holiday for next September. We could not have done this without her help and patience! Alison Allam booked our holiday to Australia. We were due to leave UK on 29-11-2010. Unfortunately due to an road traffic accident on M23 within 4 miles of Gatwick, the road was closed at 4.20pm for over 3 hours and we missed our flight. Alison was brilliant. She had to re-schedule flights on 2 occasions because of weather conditions and Gatwick closure. She was in constant contact keeping us bouyant and positive until we eventually arrived in Australia 5 days later!! Alison even text us when in Aus' to check we were OK and to wish us a wonderful holiday. Without her we would have been completely stranded and stessed out. She is amazing. If you have a TC excellence award please, please give it to Alison. We felt she went far above and beyond the call of duty and her expertise enabled us to eventually enjoy our holiday. We will only travel with TC in the future having received such excellent service. With much thanks from Jan and Reg Beaumont.
