5* Costa Adeje Gran Hotel, Costa Adeje in Tenerife

I flew from Gatwick to Tenerife with my friend for a four night pre-summer break at the five star Costa Adeje Gran Hotel in Costa Adeje, and had a fabulous time.

The weather was gorgeous and the hotel was perfect for a luxurious five star short break. I stayed on half board basis and the buffet restaurant offered a brilliant choice of breakfast and theme dinners. The hotel had three separate pool areas with an entertainment team available throughout the day, an outside restaurant and bar and another pool bar, a lovely airy restaurant with a lovely choice of food and themed meal evenings including Italian, Mexican and fish and a lovely big evening entertainment area with a bar and computer area.

Evening entertainment generally started with a pianist and then a range of entertainment earlier in the evening for children with a quiz game or singer later on, ending with the pianist again.

We had a day out at the Siam Park waterpark which I would thoroughly recommend. It has some of the best and biggest waterslides I have been on and the biggest wave pool in Europe. It also has free shuttle buses running from many resorts in the South of the island.

I even managed a couple of hours meeting up with my auntie and uncle who live in Tenerife so that was a lovely little bonus!

I would say this this hotel was a gorgeous more relaxed five star hotel and I would definitely return for either a short break or a longer holiday.

If you would like any more information on this hotel or on Tenerife just let me know.
