It's Nice To Meet You

Hi, my name is Antony. I am a Gold Travel Counsellor specialising in all aspects of Corporate Travel, and I am based on the Isle of Man. I live in the south of the island with my wife and two young children.

I have been in Business Travel for 28 years. It was my first career from leaving school, and I have never looked back or considered any other occupation at any time. My roles have included: Regional Manager for BTM (Business Travel Management) and the Corporate and Internet Sales Manager for Mannlink Travel.

Over 28 years, I have built up a wealth of knowledge, experience and most of all an enthusiasm and passion for the Travel Business. The most important thing I have learnt, is to look after the client, be readily available, and listen to the client’s needs. By moving to Travel Counsellors in 2011, I am able to take this personal service to the next level. I am dedicated to help my clients 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, a service which is not readily available by booking directly online, there is no extra cost for out of office hours, and no call centres, just a personal dedicated service from myself and access to all of my knowledge and experience.

I have been with Travel Counsellors for 8 years now. I have an office based in Castletown, which is within close proximity to the Isle of Man Airport, which is perfect when help is needed for my clients when they are travelling.

Antony is without doubt the most helpful, courteous, caring professional I have ever dealt with in any business I’ve used. As a global traveller, I often encounter issues with travel, delays, last minute changes and being stuck in another time zones when it’s the middle of the night in the UK. Not once has Antony been unavailable or or unable to resolve my problems. Nothing ever seems a hassle to him and it takes away an awful lot of stresss to have him on the other end of the phone. A great guy who is highly recommended to everyone I meet.

Lesson learned! As a business owner, I have been booking my own flights for years on the assumption it was cheaper. It's a false economy. After several recent flight cancellations and a world of subsequent hassle and huge expense, I have recently moved my travel booking to Antony Guy at Travel Counsellors. Well, all I can say is "WOW". A true professional in his own space. I wish I'd done it years ago. Moral of the story, if you are a professional with a focus on a high level of client service in your own sector, don't be afraid to rely on professionals in other sectors. You may find their level of client service actually exceeds your own!
