Sweet Sweet Sorrento!

A cheeky little three nights away in the beautiful Sorrento! The perfect place for a short break.

We flew from Stansted in the afternoon, had a private transfer from Naples and were in Piazzo Tasso sipping a glass of wine watching the hustle and bustle of the square in the evening!

Sorrento is a great place…bustling in the main square with avenues of little shops off of it, a large Marina and a smaller one where Sorrento sits overlooking the bay of Naples. There are fabulous views of the bay wherever you go!

There are a couple of hotels that sit on the edge of the cliff face where you can wake up to this magnificent view and there are hotels to suit all budgets. Sorrento has plenty of places to eat, and a great atmosphere of an evening.

As it is so close to Naples, a must do is to visit Pompeii and Vesuvius on a day trip - a fantastic day out and a place you will never forget!

You can take an open top bus tour from outside the mainline station in Sorrento and see more of the bay of Naples and all along its coastline, visiting small typical Italian villages along the way…fabulous!

You can also visit Capri from the Grand Harbour, and take a cruise along the Amalfi coast for the day!

Excellent destination -- Would definitely recommend it!
