I have used Claire's services to book my travel and holidays for several years. There are four reasons why I do this: Claire understands the luxury travel market. She finds hotels for me that I wouldn't be able to find myself. As I am sometimes travelling alone, I need to feel safe and not patronised. Claire covers this for me in her travel plans and choice of hotels. While I stay in luxury hotels, I want to make sure I am paying a competitive price, Claire can achieve better prices than some of the online platforms. As a busy professional, I like the details of my travel to be taken care of. Earlier this year I reached out to Claire to help me with a family holiday booking. We weren’t exactly sure what we wanted as this was our first time away with our young son and my parents were also coming with us. I put Claire in touch with my mum, who repeatedly changed her mind as to what she was looking for and Claire did a fantastic job of guiding her through the options and providing her with lots of choice. Claire had so much patience for our endless questions about car seats and accessibility for a toddler and found us a wonderful holiday in Portugal that we went on in June. It really was such a wonderful week away and Claire had planned the details so well from the flight seats being booked to the seamless transfers and a beautiful accommodation that was just right for us as a group of adults who like a bit of luxury but also have a 2 year old in tow – an tricky combination! The resort she found meant we had the best of both worlds as it was a family friendly luxury resort where we had our own spacious apartment but will the convenience of hotel cleaning and room service. It was just perfect for our first time abroad with my son. I would highly recommend using Claire for your holiday bookings as she thinks of things that you don’t. We would never have picked the resort based off their website as their website isn’t great, but it was just perfect for us. She even sent my old school mum her boarding passes in the post along with a travel organiser which she was so made up about! Thank you so much Claire

Claire did a fantastic job in listening to my wish list for a holiday and finding the perfect spot for a winter break. She was on hand to help with all the booking and admin support before and during the holiday. She has a great breadth of experience in the industry making her a brilliant person to go for all your travel solutions.

Claire, what can I say? I explained what I wanted, gave her my budget and left it to her. She soon came back with an agreeable rough draft of the holiday. I was delighted with her understanding and asked her to detail the whole itinerary. She proved to be very professional and skilled and as a result our holiday was a rousing success. We stayed in a fabulous hotel The Fitzroy in Russell Square and it more than ticked all the boxes. First impression was quite breathtaking, it seems to be an overlooked, understated, classic jewel of a hotel in the heart of London. The hotel and the staff were truly amazing, as were the breakfasts! The bars and restaurants within the hotel with palm trees, open fires, sumptuous drapes, cosy corners, all added to the magical experience. The bed was blissfully comfortable and the location couldn't have been better. The travel arrangements and pick-ups went very smoothly, and Claire organised restaurants and a memorable trip to the theatre for us to see Tina the Musical, excellent seats! All in all we had a wonderful pre-Christmas week in a magnificent City. There was no stress involved as Claire covered all the bases. Thank you Claire for a wonderful holiday, we'll be in touch soon for our next trip.

Dear Claire I wanted to write and thank you for all your help with our recent holiday. Having done self-catering for the last few years we decided this year that we would like to stay at a hotel for our summer holiday and you were able to offer some great alternatives for us to choose from. A disaster was averted by you two days before we were due to leave when, on reconfirming our reservation, you found that there was an issue and the hotel was not able to accommodate us. The first we knew about it was when you contacted me to say that you were able to offer us an alternative hotel and, as compensation by the tour operator, we were being upgraded. During our stay we went travelling around and passed the hotel we had originally booked. I have to say that our new hotel was so much better than the original both in location and facilities. So thank you for your unflappable calmness in the eye of the storm. We would have no hesitation in recommending you to our friends and family for their holiday needs in the future. Yours sincerely

I would like to give a shout out to Claire McKnight who is our resident Travel Counsellor at The Business Lounge, she helped me postpone and move our family holiday when our holiday company were not very helpful at all, we almost lost the holiday and the money! Just because a company says it has a Covid guarantee does not necessarily mean it will follow through but thankfully Claire came to the rescue with her knowledge and expertise! It has certainly proved a point that sometimes we need the experts to help us from time to time!
