I’m Claire, and I’m based in Shelley, Huddersfield.
I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to visit many countries over the years. I have travelled solo, with organised group tours and with family and friends.
My favourite destination is Thailand, and during my many visits, I have had some amazing experiences. I swam with whale sharks, volunteered at an elephant sanctuary, have had a whole island to myself, and have stayed in some incredible hotels and villas.
My most recent travels have included a month touring Australia, a few girls’ trips to Ibiza and Cyprus, many visits to Malaga, a group tour in Morocco, a Virgin Voyages Cruise, Mauritius, Mexico and a bucket list trip to Finland.
I use my personal travel knowledge and experiences, along with Travel Counsellors’ invaluable industry connections to create bespoke itineraries and authentic experiences for my clients.

I couldn’t recommend Claire Stow enough she was very professional, easy to talk to and very knowledgeable about on going trips and activities in and around Thailand. As this was mine and my partners first time on a long haul flight it was a very new experience for us and Claire couldn’t of made us more informed on our first holiday to such a tropical place building us with excitement. Thank you Claire for organising the best family holiday. The hotel was perfect! This is the 2nd holiday she has organised for us now and I wouldn’t use anyone else. We flew home the day after the issues with air traffic control and it was so re-assuring knowing that she could sort everything out if our flight was cancelled, thankfully it wasn’t. Claire Stow is a fab travel counsellor, she made sure we made the most of the trip and packed in everything we could for a long weekend. The beach club was amazing, and she found some great restaurants in the best locations, we wouldn’t have found it on our own. It was a girls trip and we hardly had to do anything but had the best time…Thanks Claire!

Claire Stow made a brilliant job of organising a girls holiday.
We didn't have to lift a finger and everything went to plan. She chose the hotel which was perfectly situated and offered us every thing we wanted. The food was exceptional. She booked meals out and a beach day, nothing was too much trouble and we had a stress free weekend away. I would definitely get Claire to book future holidays and recommend her totally.

We've just got home from a 5-week holiday in Australia via 3 days in Singapore and it was amazing! Claire Stow organised it all for us and we wouldn't change a thing. All the day trips and activities booked for us were done through great companies, the transfers went without a hitch and she even checked us in for all our internal flights. Never again are we booking stuff ourselves while on holiday. Highly recommend her services!

Claire Stow arranged my 4 night trip to New York city, it’s been my dream for as long as I can remember to visit the city, the flight times were perfect and included a city pass in the package to visit all the major attractions, which I managed to do as the pass was so easy to use, she was always on the other end of the phone for any questions or queries and all the flight, pass and hotel details were in the app you download, the hotel itself was amazing and the location even better, less than a 5 minute walk into Times Square. The holiday itself was absolutely unbelievable, memories I will never forget! It was also the 1st time I’d ever travelled abroad solo and with Claire being that experienced herself it put me at ease knowing what I needed, this isn’t the 1st time I’ve used Claire to arrange a holiday and it most certainly won’t be the last, she’s amazing at what she does and I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Claire arranged a fantastic holiday to Canada and New York for us. It was a special celebration holiday and Claire took the ideas we had and the timeframe and built a fantastic holiday that packed so much in. We had four flights, three hire cars, ten hotels…. She built it round our request to go on the Rocky Mountaineer train journey which has a set timetable but everything else fitted around it perfectly. She suggested various excursions and then booked the ones we liked. Then when I went back and asked her to arrange for our daughter to meet us in New York but fly from a different UK airport she sorted that too. She checked us in for our flights and remained in touch throughout the holiday in case of any difficulties. The only difficulty we had was when I misread some dates!
We had a wonderful holiday and I would definitely recommend contacting Claire to book your next trip!

From the start of our booking experience, Claire worked tirelessly to get us an anniversary trip to remember within budget. Claire pulled out all the stops getting us a two-centre booking on the Amalfi. A great hotel in the centre of Sorrento and a luxury spa stay in Minori.
First class transfers, great trips and great restaurant recommendations. Claire and the Travel Counsellors team gave us the perfect 20th anniversary celebration.
Before the trip, Claire would work with us out of our hours on Saturdays and evenings. She also kept in touch whilst we were away arranging a bottle of fizz on our arrival at our second hotel.

Claire booked us a lovely family holiday to Kos. Claire was amazing from start to finish. Every question I asked she answered even if it was out of hours and she also contacted the airline as well as the hotel on our behalf on a couple of occasions to ensure we had seats together and arranged a cot and a bed guard which were all set up ready on our arrival which was late at night. To our surprise when we arrived Claire had also arranged for our mini fridge to be stocked up with premium soft drinks, beers and juice and we also had some fruit and a lovely bottle of red wine all waiting for us and free of charge. After speaking to other hotel guests no one else had this so we knew it was all down to Claire for arranging before our arrival. We highly recommend Claire and will definitely be using her again for all our future holidays.

We have recently returned from a well-arranged trip to Canada with Travel Counsellors. The trip fully met our expectations and more. Claire organised a fabulous family holiday to Cyprus for us. For many years now (not including lockdown) I have been determined to have a proper holiday but when I start scrolling I am overwhelmed by choice. Claire took all that away, she understood what I wanted from a holiday and came back to me with a shortlist of possible destinations and accommodation for us to choose and booked everything for us. She even rang the hotel before we arrived to ask about upgrading to a sea view which we got!! She also checked us in before our flight. We have just come back from this holiday and it was perfect. Earlier this year I was struggling to find accommodation in Edinburgh for a wedding and wondered if Claire could help and of course she did booking us a great hotel with only a matter of weeks to go (again my scrolling had been fruitless). Claire was brilliant at booking two of our holidays!
She first booked Mykonos and Santorini for us, as well as airport parking. Claire sorted our accommodation, flights, transfers and restaurants. It really was a stress-free and easy experience.
We were so impressed we booked a last-minute trip to Lisbon through Claire. Again the service was brilliant, she sent us things to do and was able to research and book us excursions whilst we were away.

Just back from a fantastic holiday booked by Claire. The brief was a city break followed by a relaxing beach holiday in a small town. Claire booked us the perfect holiday staying in a really cute apartment in Barcelona in the Eixample district which is so gorgeous & a great central location followed by a week in Pals in a lovely villa. The entire holiday from flights to transfers and car hire were sorted making it a hassle-free bespoke trip. I would recommend anyone to book with Claire.

We couldn’t recommend our Travel Counsellor Claire Stow enough! She booked us the perfect multi-centre holiday to Bali. She made us numerous quotes until we were happy with everything, all the hotels and transfers were perfect! Claire was always available to contact and helped us massively throughout the trip when we missed connections and had various issues with the airline.
We are 100% going to book through Claire again!

We wanted a family holiday in Dorset but had never visited the area before so didn't know where to start.
Claire was able to find a range of accommodation within our price range and sorted this according to our priorities. In addition, she researched local activities and attractions so we could build an itinerary of things to do throughout our stay.
The accommodation was lovely and we had a ready-made list of things to do before we even set off.
This took so much pressure off and meant we could relax and enjoy our holiday even more.
