Cruising the Med with Virgin Voyages.....

Had the pleasure of cruising with Virgin Voyages on Valiant Lady on her second sailing in May 2022. We had spent the previous night re-visiting the city of Barcelona so we were not rushed in the morning with flights and transfers. Jumped in a taxi to the port and there she was looking all very grand and new. We embarked in Barcelona, a smooth and easy boarding process with a fun welcome and found our way to a fantastic balcony cabin with even a hammock on the balcony! Plenty of space for everything and one of the best bathrooms on a cruise ship I have seen! We visited Toulon, Marina di Carrara, Ajaccio, Sardinia and had an overnight in Ibiza Town so three countries in one go - great test for my French, Spanish and Italian! The food was outstanding all a la carte were included and could be pre-booked before boarding at no extra charge using the Virgin Voyage app. At breakfast we dined in the food court, which was also table service and offered plenty of choice. It also offered a great selection for lunches, with a salad bar, noodle bar, hot stations, sandwiches and plenty more. there was also well as late night pizza snack bar - great after a late return from Ibiza town. The deck bar, which was my favourite as had fabulous views, served great snacks you could have delivered to you, all included as well. Plenty of bars to choose from some with entertainment which included some excellent singers, jazz band, guitarist, pub quiz, bingo, shows and casino. Was so relaxing being adult only, but you could participate in plenty of activities if you wanted the party or not whatever took your fancy. Get in touch to find out more!
