Based In Bolton
Well, Hello There,
My name is Danielle, I am super pleased you have taken the time to pop over and check out my profile. I would like to say a warm welcome to you and introduce myself.
I am a Travel Counsellor and I live in (not so) sunny Bolton, Manchester. Given my locations, is it really any wonder I have a passion for travel and getting away to those warmer and sometimes colder climates!
As the tale goes, everyone who works in travel loves to travel and I am no exception to this. From dream destinations, amazing city breaks, cruises, relaxing sunshine holidays, far east expeditions through to ski trips, I have been on, and love them all.
So, a bit about myself, after spending over 10 years over in the IT side of the world working with Travel Companies on their travel systems, travel websites and travel products focussed on smoothing out the ever-complicated holiday customer journey, it is safe to say I know how challenging it can be to sort your own holiday. Trawling through multiple websites, pouring over Tripadvisor reviews, looking endlessly at hotels and holidays, seeing different flights over here and different hotels over there, to then, when you eventually decide on 'the one' and you hover over the all-important ‘Book’ button, you find the price increases putting you right back at square one.
Well here I am, I can take all that hard work away, and create amazing holiday experiences for you and the ones you love whilst you sit back and relax. I’ll work with you to understand your travel dreams, wants and needs and then work my magic to explore and find the perfect destination and itinerary just for you ticking all of your boxes and more. So, whether you have a destination, hotel, or tour in mind, or if you are ready to be inspired, let me take care of all your travel needs.
Given my own personal travel experiences and industry knowledge, I can support you in any and all destinations and experiences. Whether your ideal holiday is relaxing and re-charging on a beach, exploring a city and all it has to offer with friends, making magical moments with little kids and those big ones, starting married life in style with the most luxurious honeymoon, finally doing the once in a lifetime trip you have been dreaming of, or exploring a little closer to home in the UK, I can arrange every single aspect and take the hassle away for you.
My previous IT life still stays with me, meaning I am all about the details, making sure nothing gets missed or overlooked. Whether this a dinner reservation, hotel spa appointment, a visit to the local museum, or advising of the best view spots or must do boat trips, rest assured I can include these into your holiday so all you need to do is just turn up and enjoy.
I look forward to building a great relationship with you to create amazing holiday experiences for you, your family, and friends. It’s my passion to understand your WHY for travelling, whether that is relaxation, reconnecting, exploring or finding yourself through travel, I am here for you to ensure wonderful memories are made and you experience what this big wide world has to offer.
Lastly, don’t forget these two things, booking with Travel Counsellors means every single part of your holiday is 100% financially protected giving you absolute piece of mind for your holiday, and I am here to support you, from our first conversation all the way through to when you come back …and we discuss where is next on the destination list.
I cannot wait to chat more with you, wherever your heart desires to go, I am here to make it happen.
Whatever your holiday needs I'm here to help you, so simply give me a call or send me an email with your contact details on and I can get things started for you:
I absolutely live and breathe travel and I love to write about my experiences! Please take a look through my posts - you might find your own holiday inspiration.
13 December 2024
Early in December 2024 I had the pleasure of visiting Tallinn as part of a trip with Visit Estonia, the Estonian Tourist Board. The trip was filled with amazing activities and sight seeing, a great walking tour of Tallinn Old Town, the Seaplane Harbour Museum, gingerbread making, some absolutely amazing food, a trip to the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, a cold 5 minutes on the beach finished nicely with some super festive Christmas markets. Tallinn is a cosy capital with clean air and a relaxed vibe. Full of history, culture and a creative environment. Tallinn enchants with its medieval Old Town, and the authentic Olde Hansa medieval restaurant, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. With so much history throughout the area you couldn't help but feel the authenticity and quaintness nice of the town, however this was mixed with a modern and contemporary feel across areas which have been developed outside of the city walls. Not to forget all the amazing restaurants throughout the city, offering fresh light food, lots for fish fans, meat eaters, amazing vegetarian options and with Michelin guide restaurants and Michelin star restaurant Lee, For anyone thinking of a city break and wants to try somewhere 'new' this needs to be on your list. The fresh vibes, cleanliness, friendless and ease at which you can get around makes this a weekend break & a midweek holiday option. Whilst Tallinn was the focus for my trip don't be fooled into thinking Tallinn is the only place to visit, Estonia offers more than just a city and old town. The forests and islands are a great holiday option for adventure tourism and wildlife spotting. For a holiday with a difference and a dynamic feel this destination is one to get on the list.
