Mini cruise around the United Kingdom with Princess Cruise

Due to covid ,I decided to book a mini cruise for me and my wife around the UK with Princess cruises as covid testing and rules was making it difficult to get away. I thought this would be a great alternative option. I never been with Princess cruises before, although I have been with other cruise line so I was intrigue to find out more about them and their services. I booked 4 night cruise with ocean view balcony from Southampton on Regal Princess. I found check in, for my cruise to be straight forward even with extra checks of taking a covid test and showing paperwork that I had been double vaccinated before getting on the cruise. Wearing of face mask was compulsory and had to be worn in all public places including the port. I didn’t find this a problem wearing face mask. I was very impress when I entered my cabin as it was very spacious. Princess cabins are keyless wearing a medallion opens your key to your cabin which I really liked. I found the meals to be very good and a great choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner at main dinning restaurant My favourite dish was the freshly made pizza made fresh to order. I had ham and mushroom which was amazing. I also indulge in the coffee shop, which was free to have cakes and sandwiches 24 hours. I didn’t go to any of the shows on this cruise but heard reports the shows were very good. My wife had a great time in the spa having treatment every day. On this cruise it didn’t stop at any ports in the UK just cruise along the coast which was nice. I was lucky with the weather as it sunny every day and sailing was smooth. I found the cruise to be very relaxing just doing nothing eating and drinking lots. I would recommend this cruise if you just want to get away and for relaxation.
