Oktoberfest - Munich

Oktoberfest is a must do for all stag parties, beer enthusiast's or simply for an alternative city break weekend.

We stayed in the Winters Munich City Centre Hotel, a 15 minute walk from the festival location and right opposite the train station which offers a direct rail service to the airport.

Oktoberfest can only be described as huge! The site itself is massive, a huge fairground with 10 beer tents scattered around. The steins are huge, the food portions huge and the pretzels huge.

The atmosphere is amazing; the locals take it very seriously with everyone wearing the local Bavarian costumes.

Pre-booking a table is recommended for large parties but smaller groups can get a seat inside or outside the tents.
