Hi, my name is Dawn Bailey.
I have been in the travel industry for 38 years, and have worked as a personal Travel Counsellor since September 1997.
I can offer a wealth of experience and expertise in helping you to plan the right holiday, wherever in the world it may be.
As a Travel Counsellor, I am able to provide you with excellent personal service, using the latest technology so I can search thousands of suppliers to get you exactly what you want.
You can talk to me at a time that suits you and say goodbye to crowded town centres, traffic, inadequate parking, and hours on the computer comparing deals and checking reviews.
I have travelled extensively throughout the world so you will be able to benefit from my first-hand experience. The areas I specialise in are the Caribbean, North America, the Far East, Australia, New Zealand, cruises, weddings, honeymoons, group travel and winter sports. However, whatever your requirements, be it cruising, long haul, short haul, skiing, weekend breaks or flight only, I will be only too happy to help.
Remember, the advice given to you will be totally unbiased and independent. I look forward to hearing from you.
Whatever your holiday needs I'm here to help you, so simply give me a call or send me an email with your contact details on and I can get things started for you:
I absolutely live and breathe travel and I love to write about my experiences! Please take a look through my posts - you might find your own holiday inspiration.

Budapest is one of the best cities I have ever visited. A beautiful city that completely exceeded my expectations. I travelled with my best friend for a 2 night stay. On arrival at the hotel we purchased a 3 day Hop on Hop off open top sightseeing bus ticket. The ticket also included a day and evening cruise on the Danube and a night bus tour around Budapest. 18 June - Flew on the morning Ryan Air flight from Stansted to Budapest. A private car met us at the airport and transferred us to the centrally located 4* Estilo Fashion hotel. After lunch we boarded the bus and visited the Buda side of the city, Buda castle and the Citadella. In the evening we took a river cruise along the Danube. Budapest Ice Bar was located near our hotel, so we popped in for a nice chilled drink. 19 June - We walked across the bridge and spent a few hours at the Gellert Thermal baths. After lunch we took a cruise along the Danube, had a guided tour around Budapest Parliament, viewed the shoes by the Danube memorial and visited St Stephen's Basilica. At 6pm we boarded the bus for the night route tour. The iconic landmarks were all illuminated. 20 June - In the morning we hopped on the bus, visited landmarks and disembarked at the New York café. For lunch I had booked a table at the World's most beautiful café, located in the New York Palace hotel. Elegant surroundings with an orchestra playing. Later in the evening a private car transferred us to the airport for our flight back to Stansted. Budapest really does offer so much for a city break. Lovely pavement cafes offering reasonably priced food and drinks. If you don't want to visit in the summer Budapest hosts a Christmas Market that runs from late November to 1st January. To know more or to book your short break please get in touch.
